का.अ. 124(ऄ).—केंद्रीय सरकार का यह समाधान हो गया है दक लोक जहत में ऐसी ऄपेक्षा है दक यूरेजनयम

ईद्योग में लगी ऐसी सेवाओं को, जो औद्योजगक जववाद ऄजधजनयम, 1947 (1947 का 14) की पहली ऄनुसूची की मद 19

के ऄधीन अती हैं, ईक्त ऄजधजनयम के प्रयोजनों के जलए एक लोक ईपयोगी सेवा बनाया जाए;

और केन्द्द्रीय सरकार ने ऄंजतम बार ईक्त ईद्योग को भारत सरकार के श्रम और रोजगार मंत्रालय की ऄजधसूचना सं

का.अ. 2756(ऄ) तारीख 16 जून,2022 द्वारा 19 जून,2022 से छह मास की ऄवजध के जलए ईक्त ऄजधजनयम के प्रयोजनों

के जलए लोक ईपयोगी सेवा के रूप में घोजित दकया है;

और केन्द्द्रीय सरकार की यह राय है दक लोकजहत में ईक्त ईद्योग की लोक ईपयोगी सेवा की प्राजस्ट्थजत को छह मास

की और ऄवजध के जलए बढ़ाया जाना ऄपेजक्षत है ;

ऄतः,ऄब,केन्द्द्रीय सरकार,औद्योजगक जववाद ऄजधजनयम,1947 (1947 का 14) की धारा 2 के खंड (ढ) के ईपखंड

(vi) के परंतुक द्वारा प्रदत्त िज‍ तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए,ईक्त ईद्योग में लगी सेवाओं को आस ऄजधसूचना के प्रकािन की

तारीख से छह मास की ऄवजध के जलए ईक्त ऄजधजनयम के प्रयोजनों के जलए लोक ईपयोगी सेवा घोजित करती है।

MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 9th January, 2023.

S.O. 124(E).—Whereas the Central Government is satisfied that the public interest so requires that the

services in the Uranium Industry, which is covered under item 19 of the First Schedule to the Industrial Disputes Act,

1947 (14 of 1947), to be a public utility service for the purposes of the said Act;

And whereas the Central Government has lastly declared the said industry to be a public utility service for the

purposes of the said Act for a period of six months from the 19^th June, 2022 vide notification of the Government of

India in the Ministry of Labour and Employment number S.O. 2756 (E), dated the 16^th June, 2022;

And whereas the Central Government is of the opinion that public interest requires the extension of public

utility service status to the said industry for a further period of six months;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub-clause (vi) of clause (n) of section

2 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947(14 of 1947), the Central Government hereby declares the services engaged in

the said industry to be a public utility service for the purposes of the said Act for a further period of six months with

effect from the date of the publication of the notification.
