NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th January, 2023
S.O. 202(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by section 5 of the National Highways Act, 1956(48 of 1956),
the Central Government hereby directs that the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation
Limited shall exercise the function relating to the development and maintenance of the stretch as specified in column
(3) of the Table below, of the corresponding section as specified in the corresponding entry in column (2), of the
National Highways as specified in the corresponding entry in column (1) of the said Table.

का.आ. 203(अ).—केन्द्रीय सरकार, राष्ट्रीय रािमागग अजधजनयम, 1956 (1956 का 48) की धारा 5 द्वारा प्रित् त
िज तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, एतद्द्वारा जनिेि िेती है दक इसके साथ संलग् न ताजलका के कॉलम (2) में वर्णगत प्रत् येक राष्ट रीय
रािमागग से संबंजधत कायों का जनष्ट पािन करने के संबंध में प्रत् येक राष्ट रीय रािमागग के सामने ताजलका के कॉलम (3) में
जवजनधागररत कायग इस ितग के अध् यधीन राज् य सरकारों द्वारा पूरे दकए िाएंगे दक संबंजधत राज् य सरकार उ त अजधजनयम के
अधीन वतगमान में लागू जनयमों का अनुपालन करने के जलए ऐसे कायों को करने के जलए बाध् य होंगी और उस प्रयोिनाथग
तत् कालीन पोत पररवहन, सड़क पररवहन और रािमागग मंत्रालय (सड़क पररवहन और रािमागग जवभाग की अजधसूचना
सं. का.आ. 1096 (अ , तारीख 4 अगस्ट् त, 2005 में एतद्द्वारा जनम् नजलजखत और संिोधन करती है, नामत:--

का.आ.6017(अ , तारीख 22 दिसंबर, 2022 द्वारा संिोजधत दकया गया था।
NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 12th January, 2023
S.O. 203(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the National Highways Act, 1956 (48 of
1956), the Central Government hereby directs that the functions in relation to the execution of works pertaining to
each of the National Highways described in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be exercisable by the State
Government specified in column (3) of the Table against each highway subject to the condition that the State
Government concerned shall in the exercise of such functions be bound to comply with the rules for the time being in
force under the said Act and for that purpose makes the following further amendments in the notification of the
Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways (Department of Road
Transport and Highways) number S.O 1096(E), dated the 4th August, 2005, namely:-
In the said notification, in the Schedule, for serial number 15 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall
be substituted, namely: -
