का.आ. 5164(अ).— यतः, मै. इलेक्ट्रॉजनक्ट्स कॉपोरेिन ऑफ तजमलनाडु जलजमटेड, ने तजमलनाडु राज्य में िागीर

अम्मापलायम गांव, सलेम तालुक, सलेम जिला में सूचना प्रौद्योजगकी एवं सूचना प्रौद्योजगकी समर्थित सेवाओं के जलए एक

क्षेत्र जवजिष्ट जविेष आर्थिक िोन की स्ट्थापना हेतु जविेष आर्थिक िोन अजधजनयम, 2005 (2005 का 28), (जिसे

एतद्पश्चात् उक्त अजधजनयम कहा गया है) की धारा 3 के अंतगित प्रस्ट्ताव दकया था;

और, यतः केन्द्र सरकार ने, जविेष आर्थिक िोन जनयमावली, 2006 के जनयम 8 के साथ पठित उक्त अजधजनयम की

धारा 4 की उप-धारा (1) द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, वाजणज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्रालय की अजधसूचना संख्या

का. आ. 1063(अ) दिनांक 30 अप्रैल, 2008 द्वारा उपयुिक्त जविेष आर्थिक िोन में 66.505 हेक्ट्टेयर के क्षेत्र को अजधसूजचत

दकया था;

और यतः, मै. इलेक्ट्रॉजनक्ट्स कॉपोरेिन ऑफ तजमलनाडु जलजमटेड ने अब उपरोक्त जविेष आर्थिक क्षेत्र से 44.9231

हेक्ट्टेयर के क्षेत्र को अनजधसूजचत करने का प्रस्ट्ताव दकया है;

और, यतः तजमलनाडु राज्य सरकार ने उनके पत्र सं. 1041/एमआईई.2/2021-1 दिनांक 26 फरवरी, 2021 के प्रत्र

के अनुसार प्रस्ट्ताव को मंिूरी िे िी है। प्रस्ट्ताजवत अनजधसूजचत भूजम को साविजनक प्रयोिन के जलए तजमल सरकार को

वापस करने की आवश्यकता है;

और यतः जवकास आयुक्त, मरास जविेष आर्थिक िोन ने जविेष आर्थिक िोन के 44.9231 हेक्ट्टेयर के सम्पूणि क्षेत्र को

अनजधसूजचत करने के प्रस्ट्ताव की संस्ट्तुजत की है।

और यतः, केन्द्र सरकार इस बात से संतुष्ट है दक अजधजनयम की धारा 3 की उप-धारा (8) के अंतगित अपेक्षाओं तथा

अन्द्य सम्बंजधत अपेक्षाओं को पूरा कर जलया गया है;

अतः अब, जविेष आर्थिक िोन अजधजनयम, 2005 की धारा 4 की उप-धारा (1) के िूसरे परन्द्तुक द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तयों

का प्रयोग करते हुए और जविेष आर्थिक िोन अजधजनयम, 2006 के जनयम 8 के अनुसरण में केन्द्र सरकार एतद्द्वारा

44.9231 हेक्ट्टेयर के क्षेत्र को उक्त जविेष आर्थिक िोन के भाग से अनजधसूजचत करती है, जिसके पठरमाणतः कुल क्षेत्रफल

21.5819 हेक्ट्टेयर हो िाएगा। अनजधसूचना के जलए सवेक्षण संख्या और क्षेत्रफल नीचे ताजलका में दिए गए हैं:-

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 4th December, 2023

S.O. 5164(E).— Whereas, M/s. Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited, had proposed under section

3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector

specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services at Jagir

Ammapalayam Village, Salem Taluk, Salem District in the State of Tamil Nadu;

And, whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of

the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006, had notified an area of 66.505 hectares at the

above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O. 1063(E) dated 30^th

April, 2008;

AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited has now proposed for de-

notification of 44.9231 hectares from the above Special Economic Zone;

AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has given its approval to the proposal vide letter

No.1041/MIE.2/2021-1 dated 26^th February, 2021. Further, the land proposed for partial de-notification is needed back

to Government of Tamil for Public purpose;

AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Madras Special Economic Zone has recommended the

proposal for de-notification of an area of 44.9231 hectares of the Special Economic Zone.

NOW, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section

3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4

of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the

Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 44.9231 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 21.5819

hectares. The survey numbers and the area for de-notification are given below in the table, namely: -
