दििांक 20.12.2022 में प्रकाजित भारत सरकार के रेल मंत्रालय (पजिम रेलवे जिमााण संगठि) की अजधसूचिा में
जवजिर्िाष्ट भूजम को गुिरात राज्य के आणंि जिले मे पेटलाि-भािरण आमाि पररवताि पररयोििा िाम की जविेष रेल
पररयोििा के जिष्पािि के जलये आवश्यक है, ऐसी भूजम के अिाि करिे के आिय की घोषणा करी थी;
और, उक्त अजधजियम की धारा 20क की उप-धारा (4) के अधीि स्ट्थािीय िैजिक समाचार “गुिरात समाचार” में
दििांक 10.02.2023, और “इंजडयि एक्सप्रेस” में दििांक 10.02.2023 को प्रकाजित दकया गया था; और, सक्षम
प्राजधकारी को दकसी भी व्यजक्त का कोई आक्षेप प्राप्त िहीं हुआ है ;
और, सक्षम प्राजधकारी िे उक्त अजधजियम की धारा 20 इ की उप धारा (1) के अिुसरण में अपिी ररपोटा केंद्र

अतः अब, केंद्रीय सरकार सक्षम प्राजधकारी की उक्त ररपोटा प्राप्त होिे पर रेल अजधजियम की धारा 20इ की उप
धारा (1) द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करिो हुए, यह घोषणा करती है दक इसमे उपाबद्ध अिुसूची में जवजिर्िाष्ट भूजम
पूवोक्त प्रयोिि के जलए अर्िात दक िाएगी ;
और, आगे ,उक्त अजधजियम की धारा
20 ई की उप धारा

के अिुसरण में ,केंद्र सरकार यहां घोषणा करती है की
आजधकाररक रािपत्र मे इस अजधसूचिा के प्रकािि पर इसके साथ संलग्न अिुसूची में जिर्िाष्ट भूजम पूरी तरह से सभी
बाधाओं से मुक्त होकर केंद्र सरकार हस्ट्तक हो िाएगी ।

NOTIFICATION
Mumbai, the 19th December, 2023
S.O. 5381(E).—Whereas by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Railways (Railway
Board) (Published in the Gazette of India, under notification No. 5944(E) of dated 20.12.2022 Extra Ordinary part II
Section-3 Sub-section (II)) (here in after referred to as the said notification) under subsection(I) of section 20A of the
Railway Act 1989 (24 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) the Central Government declared its intention
to be acquired the land specified in the Schedule annexed to the said notification for execution, maintenance,
management and operation of the Special Railway Project, namely, Petlad-Bhadran Gauge Convertion Project in
District Anand in the State of Gujarat;
And, whereas, the substance of the said notification was published in daily local newspaper “Gujarat
Samachar” dated 10th February 2023. “The Indian Express” dated 10th February 2023 under subsection (4) of section
20A of the said Act; and whereas, no objection has been received by the competent authority;
And, whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (I) of section 20E of the said Act, the competent authority has
submitted its report of the Central Government;
Now, therefore, upon receipt of the said report of the competent authority, and in exercise of the powers
conferred by sub-section (1) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land
specified in the schedule annexed hereto shall be acquired for the aforesaid purpose;

And, further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20E of the said Act, the Central government here by
declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette the land specified in the schedule annexed hereto
shall vest absolutely in the Central Government free from all encumbrances.
