का.आ. 5418(अ).—केन्द्रीय सरकार का समाधान हो गया है दक लोकजहत में ऐसा करना अपेजित है दक भारतीय

ररिर्व बैंक नोट मुरण प्राइर्ेट जलजमटेड, मैसूर (कनावटक) और सालबोनी (पजिमी बंगाल), में सेर्ाओ^ँ को, जिसे औद्योजगक

जर्र्ाि अजधजनयम, 1947 (1947 का 14) की प्रथम अनुसूची की मि 25 के अधीन सजम्मजलत दकया गया है, उक्त

अजधजनयम के प्रयोिनों के जलए लोक उपयोगी सेर्ा घोजित दकया िाए ;

और केन्द्रीय सरकार, भारत सरकार के श्रम और रोिगार मंत्रालय में तारीख 23 िून, 2023 को भारत के

रािपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II, खंड ३, उपखण्ड (ii) में प्रकाजित अजधसूचना सं. का.आ. 2758 (अ), तारीख 23 िून, 2023

द्वारा अंजतम रूप से, तारीख 29 िून, 2023 से छह मास तक की कालार्जध के जलए उक्त उद्योग को उक्त अजधजनयम के

प्रयोिनों के जलए, लोक उपयोगी सेर्ा घोजित दकया था;

और केन्द्रीय सरकार की यह राय है दक लोकजहत में छह मास की अर्जध के जलए उक्त उद्योग को लोक उपयोगी

सेर्ा की प्राजस्ट्थजत का जर्स्ट्तार करना अपेजित है;

अतः, अब, केन्द्रीय सरकार, औद्योजगक जर्र्ाि अजधजनयम, 1947 (1947 का 14), की धारा 2 के खंड (ढ) के

उपखंड (vi) के परंतुक द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, उक्त उद्योग में लगी हुई सेर्ाओं को उक्त अजधजनयम के

प्रयोिनों के जलए इस अजधसूचना के प्रकािन की तारीख 29 िनर्री, 2023 से छह मास की अर्जध के जलए लोक उपयोगी

सेर्ा घोजित करती है ।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 22nd December, 2023

S.O. 5418(E).— Whereas the Central Government is satisfied that the public interest so requires that the

services in the Bhartiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran (P) Limited, Mysore (Karnataka) and Salboni (West Bengal),

which is covered under item 25 of the First Schedule to the Industrial Dispute Act, 1947 (14 of 1947), to be a public

utility service for the purposes of the said Act;

And whereas the Central Government had declared the said industry to be public utility service for the

purposes of the said Act for a period of six months with effect from the 29^th July, 2023 vide notification number

S.O. 2758 (E), dated the 23^rd June, 2023 of the Government of India in the Ministry of Labour and Employment,

published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 23^rd June, 2023;

And whereas the Central Government is of the opinion that public interest requires the extension of the

public utility service status to the said industry for a period of six months;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub-clause (vi) of clause (n) of section

2 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (14 of 1947), the Central Government hereby declares the services in the said

industry to be a public utility service for the purposes of the said Act for a period of six months with effect from the

29^th January, 2024.
