सा.का.जन. 914(अ).—केन्द्रीय सरकार, जसक्का जनमािण अजधजनयम, 2011 (2011 का 11) की धारा 24 की

उपधारा (2) के खंड (घ) और खंड (ड.) द्वारा प्रित्त िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, जनम्नजलजखत जनयम बनाती है, अथाित्:-

1. संजिप्त नाम और प्रारम्भ.-

(1) इन जनयमों का संजिप्त नाम जसक् का जनमािण (खरतरगच्छ सहस्राजदि, संस्ट्थापक : िैनाचायि श्री जिनेश्वरसूरी,

के अिसर पर स्ट्मारक जसक्का िारी करना) जनयम, 2023 है।

(2) ये रािपत्र में इनके प्रकािन की तारीख को प्रिृत्त होंगे।

2. जसक् के का मूल्यिगि.- खरतरगच्छ सहस्राजदि, संस्ट्थापक : िैनाचायि श्री जिनेश्वरसूरी, के अिसर पर केंरीय सरकार के

प्राजधकार के अधीन िारी करने के जलए टकसाल में एक हिार रुपये मूल्य िगि का जसक् का ढाला िाएगा ।

4. जडज़ाइन.– जसक् के का जडज़ाइन िह होगा िो इन जनयमों की पहली अनुसूची में यथा जिजनर्ििष्ट है।

5. मानक ििन और अनुज्ञात उपचार.- खरतरगच्छ सहस्राजदि, संस्ट्थापक : िैनाचायि श्री जिनेश्वरसूरी, के अिसर पर

स्ट्मरणोत्सि मनाने के जलए जनयम 2 में उपरोि मूल्य िगि के ढाले गए जसक् के का मानक ििन और ऐसे जसक् के को बनाने में

अनुज्ञात उपचार िह होगा िो इन जनयमों की िूसरी अनुसूची में यथा जिजनर्ििष्ट है।

अग्र भाग:

जसक् के के इस भाग पर मध्य में अिोक स्ट्तम्भ का ससंह स्ट्तम्भ िीषि होगा, जिसके नीचे “सत्यमेि ियते” लेख उत्कीर्णित

होगा, उसकी बाईं पररजध पर िेिनागरी जलजप में “भारत” िदि और िाईं पररजध पर अंग्रेिी में “INDIA” िदि होगा। ससंह

स्ट्तम्भ िीषि के नीचे रुपये का प्रतीक “₹`” और अंतरािष्ट्रीय अंकों में अंदकत मूल्य “1000” भी होगा ।

पृष्ट भाग:

जसक् के के अग्र भाग पर िैनाचायि श्री जिनेश्वरसूरी का जचत्र होगा । श्री जिनेश्वरसूरी के जचत्र के जनचले भाग में, सहंिी में

"खरा सो खरतर" और अंग्रेज़ी में, "PURE RIGHTEOUSNESS" मुदरत होगा। इसके नीचे िषि ‘2023’ उत् कीणि होगा ।

जसक् के के रपरी पररजध पर िेिनागरी में “खरतरगच्छ सहस्रादिी” एिं “ संस्ट्थापक : िैनाचायि श्री जिनेश्वरसूरी” उत् कीणि

होगा तथा जनचली पररजध पर अंग्रेिी में “KHARTARGACHHA MILLENNIUM” एिं “FOUNDER :

JAINACHARYA SHRI JINESHWAR SURI” उत् कीणि होगा।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 23rd December, 2023

G.S.R. 914 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (d) and (e) of sub-section (2) of section 24

of the Coinage Act, 2011(11 of 2011), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely:-

1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Coinage (Issue of Commemorative Coin on the

occasion of Khartargachha Millennium, Founder Jaincharya Shri Jineshwar Suri) Rules, 2023.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Denomination of coin.- The coin of One Thousand Rupees denomination shall only be coined at the Mint for issue

under the authority of the Central Government on the occasion of Khartargachha Millennium - Founder Jaincharya

Shri Jineshwar Suri.

3. Dimension and composition of coin.- The denomination of the coin mentioned in rule 2 shall conform to the

following dimensions and composition, namely:-

4. Design.- The design of the coin shall be as specified in the First Schedule to these rules.

5. Standard weight and remedy allowed.- The standard weight of the coin of denomination referred in rule 2 shall

be coined to commemorate the occasion of Khartargachha Millennium - Founder Jaincharya Shri Jineshwar Suri and

the remedy allowed in making of such coin shall be as specified in the Second Schedule to these rules.

OBVERSE:

This face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend “सत्यमेि ियते”

inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word “भारत” in Devnagri script and on the right periphery with

the word “INDIA” in English. It shall also bear the Rupee symbol “₹” and denominational value “1000” in the

international numerals below the Lion Capitol.

REVERSE:

The face of the coin will bear the image of Jaincharya Shri Jineshwar Suri. At the bottom of the image of Jaincharya

Shri Jineshwar Suri, text in Hindi, "खरा सो खरतर", and in English, "PURE RIGHTEOUSNESS", shall be inscribed.

Below this text, the year “2023” shall be inscribed. The text “खरतरगच्छ सहस्रादिी” and “संस्ट्थापक : िैनाचायि

श्री जिनेश्वरसूरी” shall be inscribed in Devnagari script on the upper periphery and the text “KHARTARGACHHA

MILLENNIUM” and “FOUNDER : JAINACHARYA SHRI JINESHWAR SURI” in English shall inscribed on

the lower periphery of the coin.
