S.O. 35(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Chief Election

Commissioner and other Election Commissioners (Appointment, Conditions of Service and Term of Office) Act, 2023

(49 of 2023), the Central Government hereby appoints the 2^nd day of January, 2024, as the day on which the

provisions of said Act shall come into force.
