का.आ. 353(अ).—केन्द्रीय सरकार, पयाावरण (सरंक्षण) अजधजनयम, 1986 (1986 का 29) की धारा 3 की

उपधारा (1) और उपधारा (3) द्वारा प्रदत्त िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारत के रािपत्र, असाधारण, भाग 2, खंड 3,

उपखंड (ii) तारीख 1 मई, 2003 में प्रकाजित भारत सरकार के तत्कालीन पयाावरण और मंत्रालय के आदेि संखयांक

का.आ. 489(अ) तारीख 30 अप्रैल, 2003 में जनम्नजलजखत और संिोधन करती है, अथाात् :-

उि आदेि के पैरा 1 में,

(i) क्रम संखयांक 17 में “उप महाजनरीक्षक पुजलस” िब्दों के स्ट्थान पर “महाजनरीक्षक पुजलस” िब्द रखें िाएंगे ।

(ii) क्रम संखयांक 18 में “उप महाजनरीक्षक पुजलस” िब्दों के स्ट्थान पर “महाजनरीक्षक पुजलस” िब्द रखें िाएंगे ।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 29th January, 2024

S.O. 353(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (3) of section 3 of the

Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), the Central Government hereby makes the following further

amendment in the Order of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests, number

S.O. 489(E), dated the 30^th April, 2003, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3,

Sub-section (ii) dated the 1^st May 2003, namely:-

In the said Order, in paragraph I,

(i)

In serial number 17, for the words “Deputy Inspector General of Police, the words “Inspector General

of Police” shall be substituted.

(ii) In serial number 18, for the words “Deputy Inspector General of Police”, the words “Inspector General

of Police” shall be substituted.
