सा.का.जन. 779(अ).—केन्द्रीय सरकार, जसक् का जनमािण अजधजनयम, 2011 (2011 का 11) की धारा 24 की
उपधारा (2) के खंड (घ) और खंड (ड.) द्वारा प्रित्त िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, जनम्नजलजखत जनयम बनाती है, अथाित्:-
1. संजिप्त नाम और प्रारम्भ.-(1) इन जनयमों का संजिप्त नाम जसक् का जनमािण ) श्री अटल जबहारी िािपेयी िन्द्म िताब्िी के
अिसर पर स्ट्मारक जसक् का िारी करना (जनयम,2024 है।
(2) ये रािपत्र में इनके प्रकािन की तारीख को प्रिृत्त होंगे।
2. जसक् के का मूल्यिगि.- श्री अटल जबहारी िािपेयी िन्द्म िताब्िी” के अिसर पर केंरीय सरकार के प्राजधकार के अधीन
िारी करने के जलए टकसाल में एक सौ रुपये मूल्य िगि का जसक् का ढाला िाएगा ।
3. जसक् के की जिमाएं और संरचना - जनयम 2 में उजल्लजखत मूल्य िगि के जसक् के, जनम्नजलजखत जिमाओं और संरचना के
अनुरूप होंगे,अथाित्:-

4. जडज़ाइन – जसक् के का जडज़ाइन िह होगा िो इन जनयमों की पहली अनुसूची में यथा जिजनर्ििष्ट है।
5. मानक ििन और अनुज्ञात उपचार - श्री अटल जबहारी िािपेयी िन्द्म िताब्िी के अिसर को मनाने के जलए जनयम 2 में
जनर्ििष्ट मूल्य िगि के ढाले गए जसक् के का मानक ििन और ऐसे जसक् के को बनाने में अनुज्ञात उपचार िह होगा िो इन
जनयमों की िूसरी अनुसूची में यथा जिजनर्ििष्ट है।

जसक् के के इस भाग पर मध्य में अिोक स्ट्तम्भ का ससंह स्ट्तम्भ िीषि होगा, जिसके नीचे “सत्यमेि ियते” लेख उत्कीर्णित
होगा, उसकी बाई पररजध पर िेिनागरी जलजप में “भारत” िब्ि और िाई पररजध पर अंग्रेिी में “INDIA” िब्ि होगा। ससंह
स्ट्तम्भ िीषि के नीचे रुपये का प्रतीक “₹” और अंतरािष्ट्रीय अंकों में अंदकत मूल्य “100” भी होगा ।
पृष्ठ भाग:
जसक्के के इस भाग के मध्य में श्री अटल जबहारी िािपेयी का जचत्र होगा। जसक् के के ऊपरी पररजध पर िेिनागरी जलजप में
“श्री अटल जबहारी िािपेयी िन्द्म िताब्िी” जलखा होगा और जसक् के की जनचली पररजध पर अंग्रेिी में “SHRI ATAL
BIHARI VAJPAYEE BIRTH CENTENARY” िर्णित होगा। श्री अटल जबहारी िािपेयी के जचत्र की जनचली पररजध
पर अंतरािष्ट्रीय अंक में िषि “2024” जलखा होगा।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 23rd December, 2024
G.S.R. 779(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (d) and (e) of sub-section (2) of section 24 of
the Coinage Act, 2011(11 of 2011), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Coinage (Issue of Commemorative Coin on the
occasion of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Birth Centenary) Rules, 2024.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Denomination of coin.- The coin of one hundred rupees denomination shall only be coined at the Mint for issue
under the authority of the Central Government to commemorate on the occasion of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Birth
Centenary.
3. Dimension and composition of coin.- The denomination of the coin mentioned in rule 2 shall conform to the
following dimensions and composition, namely: -

4. Design.- The design of the coin shall be as specified in the First Schedule annexed to these rules.
5. Standard weight and remedy allowed.- The standard weight of the coin of denomination referred in rule 2 to
commemorate the occasion of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Birth Centenary and the remedy allowed in making of such
coin shall be as specified in the Second Schedule annexed to these rules.

ONE HUNDRED RUPEES
OBVERSE:
This face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar in the centre with the legend “सत्यमेव जयते”
inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word “भारत” in Devnagari script and on the right periphery
with the word “INDIA” in English. It shall also bear the Rupee symbol “₹” and denominational value “100” in the
international numerals below the Lion Capitol.
REVERSE:
This face of the coin shall bear the image of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The inscription “श्री अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी
जन्म शताब्दी” shall be written in Devanagari script on the upper periphery of the coin and the inscription “SHRI
ATAL BIHARI VAJPAYEE BIRTH CENTENARY” in English shall be depicted on the lower periphery of the
coin. The year “2024” shall be written on the down side of the image of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee in international
numbers.
