INDIAN NURSING COUNCIL
WITHDRAWAL ORDER
New Delhi, the 19th November, 2024
F.No. – 18-435/2002-INC: — In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 14 of Indian Nursing
Council Act, 1947 (XLVIII of 1947), the Indian Nursing Council hereby issues the following order:—
Whereas, Satya School of Nursing situated at 3rd Line Srinivasaraopeta, 25-17-466, Guntur 522004
Andhra Pradesh is recognized by State Government of Andhra Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh Nurses Registration
Council to conduct GNM Course.
Whereas, a notice no. 18-435/2002-INC (45028) dated 26/12/2023 for withdrawal of Recognition under
section 14 of Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 addressed to the principal secretary (Health & FW), Government of
Andhra Pradesh 5th Floor, Ground Floor, Room No. 157, A.P. Secretariat, Velegapudi, Amaravathi 522503, Andhra
Pradesh was issued. Copy of the notice dated 26/12/2023 was also enclosed to Satya School of Nursing situated at
3rd Line Srinivasaraopeta, 25-17-466, Guntur 522004 Andhra Pradesh. In the notice issued, the State Government
was requested to submit their recommendations to the Council as respects Suitability of the nursing institution.
Whereas, the Council has not received any recommendation from the State Government as respects the case
of Satya School of Nursing. Even the institution, Satya School of Nursing has not responded to the notices issued.
Whereas, the Council has considered the matter in its entirety. Perusal of the inspection report dated
21/04/2023 would show that the institution is deficient in many respects especially those relating to deficiencies i.e.,
clinical and teaching facilities. These are serious deficiencies which constitute that the institution is unable to run
GNM Course.
Now therefore, the Council exercising powers under section 14(3) (b) declares that with effect from
21/05/2024 any person holding a recognized qualification of GNM from Satya School of Nursing situated at 3rd
Line Srinivasaraopeta, 25-17-466, Guntur 522004 Andhra Pradesh shall be entitled to be registered only in the
State of Andhra Pradesh
