NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 15th January, 2025

S.O. 285(E).—In exercise of the power conferred by clause (37A) of Section 2 of the Railways (Amendment)

Act-2008, the Central Government hereby notifies the project of “Redevelopment of Kashi Railway Station of Northern

Railway under Major Upgradation” as a "Special Railway Project" for acquisition of land, in Varanasi District in the

State of Uttar Pradesh, for providing national infrastructure for a public purpose with effect from the date of publication

of this notification in the official gazette.
