का.आ. 1147(अ), तारीख 01 अक्तूबर, 2003 द्वारा राष्ट्रीर् िैव जवजवधता प्राजधकरण की स्ट्थापना करती है |

और केंरीर् सरकार ने समर्-समर् पर इस प्राजधकरण के सिस्ट्र्ों को जनर्ुक्त करने के संबंध में जवजभन्न

अजधसूचनाएं िारी की हैं;

अब, अत: केन्द्रीर् सरकार, िैजवक जवजवधता अजधजनर्म, 2002 (2003 का 18) की धारा 8 की उप-धारा (4)

द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तर्ों का प्रर्ोग करते हुए जनम्नजलजखत सिस्ट्र्ों को राष्ट्रीर् िैव जवजवधता प्राजधकरण में जनर्ुक्त करती है और

इस प्रर्ोिन के जलए भारत सरकार के तत्कालीन पर्ाावरण और वन मंत्रालर्, की अजधसूचना संख्र्ा का.आ. 1147(अ),

तारीख 01 अक्तूबर, 2003 जनम्नजलजखत संिोधन करती है, अथाात :-

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 15th January, 2025

S.O. 289(E)— WHEREAS the Central Government established the National Biodiversity Authority under

sub-sections (1) and (4) of section 4 of the Biological Diversity Act, 2002 (18 of 2003) vide notification number

S.O. 1147(E), dated the 1^st October, 2003 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-

section (ii);

AND WHEREAS the Central Government has issued various notification in this regard to appoint the

members of the Authority from time to time;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of section 8 of the Biological

Diversity Act, 2002 (18 of 2003), the Central Government hereby appoints the following members to the National

Biodiversity Authority and for that purpose makes the following further amendment in the notification of the

Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests number S.O. 1147 (E), dated the 1 ^st

October, 2003, namely:-

In the said notification, for serial numbers (1) to (16) and the entries relating thereto, the following

serial numbers and entries shall be substituted, namely:-
