का 7) की धारा 2 के खंड (ि) द्वारा प्रित् त िज‍ तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए तथा भारत के रािपत्र, असाधारण, भाग 2,

खंड 3, उपखंड (ii), तारीख 29 जसतंबर, 1994 में प्रकाजित अजधसूचना संखयांक का.आ. 718(अ), तारीख 29

जसतंबर, 1994 को उन बातों के जसिायअजधक्ांत करते हुए, जिन्हें ऐसे अजधक्मण के पूिक दकया गया है या करने से

लोप दकया गया है, उक्त अजधजनयम के प्रयोिनों के जलए जनम् नजलजखत रजिस्ट्रीकरण प्राजधकारी अजधसूजचत करती है,

अथाकत्:-

(i)

स्ट्थानीय केबल ऑपरेटर के जलए जडिीटल एड्रेसेबल जसस्ट्टम से संबद्ध सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्रालय का

अनुभाग अजधकारी, और

(ii) मल्टी जसस्ट्टम ऑपरेटर के जलए सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्रालय का अपर सजचि या संयुक्त सजचि ।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 17^th January, 2025

S.O. 315(E).–– In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (h) of section 2 of the Cable

Television Networks (Regulation) Act, 1995 (7 of 1995), and in supersession of the notification number

S.O. 718(E), dated the 29^th September, 1994, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II,

Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 29^th September, 1994, except as respects things done or omitted to be

done before such supersession, the Central Government hereby notifies, the following registering

authorities for the purposes of the said Act, namely :-

(i) Section Officer in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting dealing with digital addressable

systems for local cable operator; and

(ii) Additional Secretary or Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for

multi-system operator.
