फा. सं. एआई/1/05/टाइफैक/2025.—भारत सरकार ने प्रौद्योजगकी सूचना पूिाानुमान एिं मूल्यांकन पररषि

(टाइफैक), जिसकी स्ट्थापना 10.02.1988 को 1860 के सोसायटी पंिीकरण अजधजनयम के तहत पंिीकरण संख्या

एस/18632, 1988 िाली सोसायटी के रूप में हुई थी, को समाप्त करने का जनणाय जलया। यह भी जनिेि दिया गया दक

समापन प्रदिया मंजत्रमंडल के दिनांक 12.11.2025 के जनणाय से 6 महीने की अिजध के भीतर पूरी कर ली िाए।

इस जनणाय के अनुसरण में, टाइफैक को समाप्त करने के जलए सभी आिश्यक कारािाइयां पूरी हो चुकी हैं और इसे

08.12.2025 से समाप्त दकया िाता है। डीएसटी के अंतगात आने िाले प्रौद्योजगकी जिकास बोडा (टीडीबी), नई दिल्ली को

सभी िेष प्रिासजनक मामले, सभी बाकी गजतजिजधयां और कायािम, िारी जिजधक मामले, धन िसूली, रॉयल्टी/ लाभ की

प्राजप्त, कोई अन्य काया आदि से संबंजधत कारािाई करने का काया सौंपा गया है।

RESOLUTION

New Delhi, the 16th December, 2025

F.No. AI/1/05/TIFAC/2025.—The Government of India decided to close Technology Information

Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC), established on 10.02.1988 as Society having Registration no. S/18632

of 1988 under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. It was further directed that the closure exercise be completed

within a period of 6 months from the date of decision of the Cabinet i.e. 12.11.2025.

2. Pursuant to the decision, all the necessary actions for closure of TIFAC have been completed and it stands

closed w.e.f. 08.12.2025. Technology Development Board (TDB), New Delhi under DST has been entrusted to deal

with all the residual administrative matters, all remaining activities and programs, ongoing legal cases, recovery of

funds, receiving of royalty/ profits, any other work, etc.
