Pradesh,

Chhattiscarh,

Maharashtra, Manipur, Oiissa, Na^alaud and Tripura with

effect from lit January, 1989.

However, the eligibility for

the award of this medal in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jhar-

khand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhaltisgarb, Mahaiatihtra

and]

Oritoii shall be restricted to only such police personnel who

have served /nerve for the above period in area affected by

extremism.
