NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 27th June, 2001

G.S.R. 481(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred

by Sub-section (1) read with Sub-section (6) of Section 3 of

the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), the Central

Government hereby appoints Shri CM. Chandrabose as a

Trustee to represent the Labour employed in the Port on

(he Board of Trustees of Cochin Port Trust vice Shri K.P.S.

Menon for the remaining period, i.e. upto 31-3-2002 and

makes the following amendment in the notification of the

Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of

Surface Transport (Ports Wing) G.S.R. No. 515 (E) dated

1st June, 2000.

2. In the said notification against the Serial No. 17

for the words, "Shri K.P.S. Menon Representing the Labour

employed in the Port", the words "Shri CM. Chandrabose

Representing the Labour employed in the Port" shall be

substituted.
