G. s. K 494 (E).—rEss. Com./ Sugarcane.- In exercise of the powers conferred by

clause 3 "oftfie Sugarcane (Control) Order, 1966 and having regard to the various

factors mentioned In sub-clause (1) thereof and In continuation of Order No.G.S.R. 579

(EVEss.Com./Sugar dated the 3rd October, 1997 of the Government of India, In the

erstwhile Ministry of Food and Consumer Affairs, (Department of Sugar & Edible Oils)

published In the Gazette of India Extraordinary Part, n, section 3 sub-section (I) dated

the 3rd October, 1997, the Central Government

hereby fixes the price specified in

column (4) of the Schedule annexed hereto as the minimum price that shall be payable

by the owners of the vacuum pan process sugar factory specified In the corresondlng

entry In column (3) of the said Schedule or their agents for sugarcane delivered at the

gate of the factory or any purchasing centre for the sugar year 1997-98 ending the 30th

September, 1998, subject to the rebates payable therefor under clause 3A of the

Sugarcane (Control) Order, 1966.
