by clause (f) of section 2 and section 12 of the Works of
Defence Act, 1903 and in pursuance of the High Court,
Mumbai judgments dt 09-11-2000 and 04-12-2000 passed
in Writ Petition Nos. 894/96, 1753/97 and 1532/2000
respectively and Supreme Court of India judgments dt.
23-03-2001,24-04-2001 and 12-07-2001 passed in SLPs (C)
Nos. 4346/2001,6311/2001 and4143/2001 respectively, the
Central Government hereby appoints Shri Ajinkya Padval,
Sub Divisional Officer, Pune, to act as "Collector" and to
hear and settle the claims of the affected persons/
landholders around Dighi Magazine under the control of
Ammunition Factory and High Explosive Factory, situated

S. R. 0.162.—In exercise of the powers conferred
by sub-sections (1) and (1 A) of Section 12 of the National
Cadet Corps Act, 1948(31 of 1948), the Central Government
hereby notifies the appointment of Shri Priya Ranjan
Dasmunsi andDr, (Col.) Dhani Ram Shandil, Members of
the Lok Sabha as Members of the Central Advisory
Committeec for the National Cadet Corps and for that
purpose amends the notification of the Government of India
in the Ministry of Defence No. SRO 76(E) dated the 10th
October, 1983, as amended from time to time, as follows,
namely:—
In the said notification, under the heading—
"under clause (i) of sub-section (1) of Section 12"
for the entries (14) and (15), the following entries
