NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 26th September, 2001

S.O. 946(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred

by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Advocates' Welfare

Fund Act, 2001 (45 of 2001), the Central Government

hereby appoints the 1st day of November, 2001 as the date

on which the said Act shall come into force in the whole of

India except the States in which the enactments specified

in Schedule II are applicable.
