NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 28th September, 2001

S. O.971(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred

by Section 3 of the Commissions of Inquiry Act, 1952 (60

of 1952), the Central Government hereby makes the

following further amendment in the notification of the

Government of India in the Ministry of Home Affairs,

Number S.0.441(E), dated, the 8th May, 2000.

In the said notification, for paragraph 3, the

following paragraph shall be substituted, namely:—

"3. The Commission shall submit its report to the

Central Government as soon as possible but not later than

the 2nd April, 2002".

Note:—The Principal notification was published in the

dated the 8th May, 2000 and subsequently
