New Delhi, the 1st June, 2005

No. ERB-I/2004/23/29--Reference Ministry of

Railways (Railway Board's) Notification of even

number dated 4-9-2004 regarding constitution of

High Level Committee for a period of 3 months

with effect from 5-9-2004 ^{under the Chairmanship}

of Justice U.C. Banerjee, Judge (Retd.), Supreme

Court of India, to inquire into the incident of fire

in Train No. 9166 Sabarmati Express at Godhra

station on 27-2-2002 and further Notification

of even number dated 30-11-2004 and 4-3-20 5

extending the tenure of the High Level ^Committee

upto 4-3-2005 and 4-6-2005 respectively.

2. The Government of India have decided to

extend the tenure of the said High Level Commi-

ttee for another 3 months beyond ^{4-6-2005 i.e.}^upto

4-9-2005.
