New Delhi, the 19th May, 2011

S.R.O. 40.— In exercise of the powers conferred by

Section 3 of the Works of Defence Act, 1903 (7 of 1903),

the Central Government considers it necessary to impose

restrictions specified in clause (c) of section 7 of the said

Act upon the use and enjoyment of the land described in

the Schedule annexed hereto being the land lying in the

vicinity of Defence Research Development Organisation,

Bangalore Test Range in State of Karnataka, and hereby

make a declaration to the effect that the land specified in

the Schedule shall be kept free from buildings and other

obstructions.

2. A sketch plan of the said land may be inspected in

the office of the Deputy Commissioner and District

Magistrate, Bangalore Distt., Bangalore and Deputy

Commissioner, Bangalore Rural District, Bangalore,

Karnataka.

SCHEDULE

All the land comprised in the area lying within the

distance of five hundred yards from the crest of the outer

parapet of the boundary wall of Defence Research

Development Organisation, Bangalore Test Range

Bangalore in the State of Karnataka
