Randeep Hundal has been granted commission as an officer
in the Territorial Army (Infantry) on 20 Oct 2011 in the rank of
Lieutenant under the provision given in Appendix VIII of TA
Act Rule 1948. He is also granted 05 years (wef 02 Sep 2000 to
01 Sep 2005) ante date seniority with effect from 20 Oct 2006 in
the rank of Lieutenant for his former service in the Regular
Army (wef 02 Sep 2000 to 01 Sep 2005). By virtue of his ante
date seniority, he is promoted as Capt with effect from 20 Oct
2011. Also the officer is promoted with notional seniority for
pay and promotion in the rank of Captain with effect from 20
Oct 2010 under the provisions of Para 25 (a) & 38 (a) of TA
Regs 1948 (Revised Edition 1976) as amended vide Government
