2. The ad-hoc appointments of the above Assistants as Section Officer will be subject to the following terms and

conditions:-—

(i)

The period of Ad-hoc promotion would be upto 30.06.2014 or till the regular Section Officers are made available,

whichever is earlier.

(ii)

Ad-hoc appointments, being a stopgap arrangement, shall not confer on them any right to continue in the grade

indefinitely or for inclusion in the Select List for regular appointment or to claim seniority in the Section Officer's

Grade of CSS.

(iii)

Ad-hoc arrangements will continue till regular candidates in the Section Officer grade are available through

Seniority Quota/Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE). In the event of the ad-hoc appointees

not qualifying for regular appointment in any of these two categories, they will be reverted to the Assistant Grade

on availability of such regular officers from the date they (regular Section Officers) join duty.
