On the basis of the Long term Open Access approval granted to it, by M/S POWER GRID CORPORATION OF INDIA
LIMITED (PGCIL, a Govt. of India Undertaking), for evacuation of Power, Sterlite Energy Ltd. (SEL), having its registered
office at SIPCOT Industrial Complex, Madurai Bypass Road, TV Puram PO, Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu, is implementing a
dedicated transmission line for connecting the 4 × 600 MW Power plant at Bhurkamunda, to the 765/400 KV PGCIL
Pooling station at Sundergarh. It therefore, has applied/intends to apply to the Government of India to confer upon it all the
Powers under Section 164 of the Electricity Act, so established or maintained and will undertake the survey, construction,
installation, inspection, erection and other works to be followed by commissioning, operation, maintenance, and other works
for the following Transmission scheme and the same is being published here for general information.

Extension of 2 nos. of LILO upto 765/400 KV PGCIL Pooling station.
Works covered under the scheme
:
Construction of 44 KM (approx) of 400 KV Double circuit Transmission
line from Tapping point at Deuli & Kinjirima for LINE-1 & LINE-2
respectively village to 765/400 KV PGCIL Pooling station at Kenapali,
Sundergarh district of Orissa.
It is also notified in the interest of the general public that any person interested in making representation regarding the
execution of the above scheme, may submit such representation in writing, so as to reach the undersigned latest within
2 months from the date of publication of this notification. Full details of the scheme may be seen in the office of the
undersigned, on any working day during office hours. Names of the villages in and around the route of the transmission line,
falling in the districts of Sundergarh are : Deuli, Badabahal, Masanikani, Podabahal, Telengapali, Kinjirima,
Khapurikhanda, Rangalbudi, Titheitnagar, Khamarbahal, Jamunadhipa, Suruda, Kiripsira, Kepse, Kuraga, Rangia Munda,
Mahulpali, Kenapali.
