G.S.R. 145 .—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution and in
supersession of the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training, Lal
Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration Data Entry Operator, Grade ‘B’ (Group ‘C’ post) Recruitment Rules,
2002, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the
following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post Data Entry Operator (Grade B), namely:-—
1. Short title and commencement.-— (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances
and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie
Data Entry Operator, Grade B (Group 'C' post) Recruitment Rules, 2014.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette
2. Number of posts, classification and pay band, grade pay and pay scale.— The number of the post, its
classification and the pay band and grade pay and pay scale attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of
the Schedule annexed to these rules.
3. Method of recruitment, age limit and qualifications. etc.-— The method of recruitment, age limit, qualifications
and other matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule.
4. Disqualifications.— No person,-
(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or
(b) who having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,
shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:
Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law
applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any
person from the operation of this rule.
5. Power to relax.— Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do,
for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of
persons.
6. Saving.— Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age limit, and other concessions
required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, the Other Backward Classes, Ex-service persons
and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time
in this regard.

supersession of the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (Office Establishment Group 'C' and 'D'
Posts) Recruitment Rules, 2000, in so far as they relate to the posts of Stenographer Grade III, Assistant Riding Instructor
and Assistant Physical Training Instructor, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession,
the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade
II, Assistant Riding Instructor and Assistant Physical Training Instructor or Sports Officer, namely:-—
1. Short title and commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances
and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie
Stenographer Grade II, Assistant Riding Instructor and Assistant Physical Training Instructor or Sports Officer Recruitment

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Number of posts, classification and pay band, grade pay and pay scale.-— The number of the post, its
classification and the pay band and grade pay and pay scale attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of
the Schedule annexed to these rules.
3. Method of recruitment, age limit and qualifications, etc.— The method of recruitment, age limit, qualifications
and other matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule.
4. Disqualifications.— No person,-
(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or
(b) who having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,
shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:
Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law
applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any
person from the operation of this rule.
5. Power to relax.— Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do,
for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of
persons.
6. Saving.— Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age limit, and other concessions
required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, the Other Backward Classes, Ex-servicepersons
and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time
in this regard.

G.S.R. 147.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution and in
supersession of the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (Office Establishment Group 'C' and 'D'
posts) Recruitment Rules, 2000, in so far as they relate to the posts of Dresser (Dispensary). Veterinary Dresser, Farrier and
Syce, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the
following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the posts of Dresser (Dispensary) and Riding Assistant, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances
and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie
Dresser (Dispensary) and Riding Assistant Recruitment Rules, 2014.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Number of posts, classification and pay band, grade pay and pay scale.— The number of the post, its
classification and the pay band and grade pay and pay scale attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of
the Schedule annexed to these rules.
3. Method of recruitment, age limit and qualifications, etc.— The method of recruitment, age limit, qualifications
and other matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule.
4. Disqualifications.— No person,-
(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or
(b) who having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,
shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:
Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law
applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any
person from the operation of this rule.
5. Power to relax.— Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do,
for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of
persons.
6. Saving.— Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age limit, and other concessions
required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, the Other Backward Classes, Ex-service persons
and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time
in this regard.

G.S.R. 149.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution and in
supersession of the Central Soil and Materials Research Station, New Delhi, Research Assistant Recruitment Rules, 2001,
except as respect things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the following
rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Research Assistant in the Central Soil and Materials Research
Station, New Delhi, under the Ministry of Water Resources, namely:-—
1. Short title and commencement.-— (1) These rules may be called the Central Soil and Materials Research
Station, New Delhi, Research Assistant Recruitment Rules, 2014.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. Number of posts, classification, pay band and grade pay or pay scale.— The number of post, its classification
pay band and grade pay or pay scale attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the said Schedule
annexed to these rules.
3. Method of recruitment, age limit and qualifications. etc.-— The method of recruitment, age limit, qualifications
and other matters relating thereto shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the aforesaid Schedule.
4. Disqualifications.— No person,-
(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or
(b) who having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,
shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:
Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law
applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any
person from the operation of this rule.

5. Liability to serve in the Defence Service of recruits with engineering degree.— Any person with a degree in
engineering appointed to any post under these rules shall, if so required, be liable to serve anywhere in India including,
in any defence service or posts connected with the defence of India for a period of not less than four years including the
period, if any, spent on training:
Provided that such person shall not be required-
(a) to serve as aforesaid after the expiry of ten years from the date of appointment to the said post; and
(b) ordinarily, to serve as aforesaid after attaining the age of forty years.
6. Power to relax.— Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient to do so,
it may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing and in consultation with Union Public Service Commission, relax
any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.
7. Saving.— Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age limit, and other concessions
required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Ex-servicemen and other special categories of
persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.

G.S.R. 150.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution and in
supersession of the Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, Directorate of Extension, Director
(Extension), Joint Director (Extension), Extension Officer, Assistant Extension Officer and Technical Assistant (Agriculture),
Recruitment Rules, 2000, in so far as it relates to the post of Technical Assistant (Agriculture), except respect as things
done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the
method of recruitment to the post of Technical Assistant (Agriculture), in the Directorate of Extension under the Ministry
of Agriculture, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, namely:-—
1. Short title and commencement.-— (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Agriculture, Department of
Agriculture and Cooperation, Directorate of Extension, Technical Assistant (Agriculture), Recruitment Rules, 2014.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. Number of posts, classification and pay band and grade pay or pay scale.— The number of the said post, its
classification pay band and grade pay or pay scale attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the
Schedule annexed to these rules.
3. Method of recruitment, age limit and other qualifications. etc.-— The method of recruitment to the said post,
age limit, qualifications and other matters relating thereto shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule.
4. Disqualification.— No person,-
(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or
(b) who having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,
shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:
Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law
applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any
person from the operation of this rule.
5. Power to relax.— Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do,
it may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any
class or category of persons.
7. Saving.— Nothing in these rules shall affect reservations, relaxation of age limit, and other concessions
required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Calsses, the Ex-servicemen and
other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in
this regard.

G.S.R. 151 .—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution and in
supersession of the Ministry of Science & Technology (India Meteorological Department) Laboratory Assistant Group 'C'
Recruitment Rules, 2003, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President
hereby makes the following rules, regulating the method of Recruitment to Group 'C' posts of Meteorological Observer
Grade-I, II & III in the office of the India Meteorological Department, Ministry of Earch Sciences, namely:-—

1. Short title and commencement.-— (i) These rules may be called the Ministry of Earth Sciences (India
Meteorological Department), Meteorological Observer Grade-I, II, & III posts, Recruitment Rules, 2014.
(ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette .
2. Number of posts, classification, pay band and grade pay/pay scale.— The number of said post, its classification
and the pay band and grade pay/pay scales attached there to shall be as specified in Columns 2 to 4 of the Schedule
annexed to these rules.
3. Method of recruitment, age-limit and qualifications. etc.-— The method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications
and other matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule.
4. Disqualifications.— No person,-
(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or
(b) who having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,
shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:
Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such a marriage is permissible under the personal law
applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for doing so, exempt any
person from the operation of this rule.
5. Power to relax.— Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient to do so,
it may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing and in consultation with the Union Public Service Commission,
relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.
6. Saving.— Nothing in these rules shall affect reservations, relaxation of age limit, and other concessions
required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Ex-servicemen and other
special categories of persons in accordance with the order issued by the Central Government from time to time in this
regard.
