NATIONAL BANK FOR AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT
New Delhi, the 18th December 2014
No. NB. HRMD. PPD/ SA.08/ 2014-15.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1), read with clause
(j) of sub-section (2) of section 60 of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development Act, 1981,(61 of 1981), the
Board of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, with the previous approval of the Central Government
and in consultation with the Reserve Bank of India, hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the National
Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development Pension Regulations, 1993, namely :—
1. (1) The regulations may be called the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development Pension (Amendment)
Regulations, 2014.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development Pension Regulations, 1993 (here in after referred to as
the said regulations), in regulations 6, in sub-regulation (1), in clause (b), for the figures “375/-”, the figures
“3,500/-” shall be substituted.
3. In regulation 7 of the said regulations, for the figures “375/-”, the figures “3,500/-” shall be substituted.
4. In regulation 27 of the said regulations, in sub-regulation (2), for the figures “375/-”, the figures “3,500/-” shall be
substituted.
5. In regulation 28 of the said regulations, for the figures “375/-”, the figures “3,500/-” shall be substituted.
6. In regulation 32 of the said regulations, for the sub-regulation (5), the following sub-regulation shall be substituted,
namely :—
"(5) The ordinary rate of family pension shall be thirty percent of the Pay, subject to a minimum of Rs.3,500/-
(rupees three thousand and five hundred only) per month and a maximum of Rs.24,495/- (rupees twenty- four
thousand four hundred ninety-five only) per month.
Explanation.- In the case of a part-time employee, the minimum and maximum amounts of family pension shall be
in proportion to the rate of wages applicable".
