S.R.O. 3.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 8 of the Army Act, 1950 (46 of

1950), the Central Government hereby prescribes the Inspector General, Assam Rifles (East), an officer commanding a

military organisation, which, in the opinion of the Central Government, is not less than a Division, as the officer by

whom the powers, which under the said Act, may be exercised by an Officer Commanding a Division, shall, as regards

persons subject to the said Act, who are serving under him, be exercised.

whom the powers, which under the said Act, may be exercised by an Officer Commanding a Brigade, shall, as regards

persons subject to the said Act, who are serving under him, be exercised, namely:-

Deputy Inspector General HQ 22 Sector Assam Rifles
