सा.का.िन.186 .— भारतीय तार अिधिनयम, 1885 (1885 का 13) कᳱ धारा 7 ᳇ारा ᮧद᭜ त शि तयᲂ का
ᮧयोग करते ᱟए के᭠ ᮤीय सरकार ,rn~}kjk भारतीय बेतार टेलीᮕाफᳱ (वािणि᭔ यक रेिडयो ᮧचालक ᮧवीणता ᮧमाण-
पᮢ और वैि᭫ वक समुᮤी आपदा और सुरᭃा ᮧणाली लाइसᱶस) िनयमावली, 1997 मᱶ पुनसᲈशोधन करने के िलए
िन᭥ निलिखत िनयम बनाती है:
1. (1) संिᭃ᭡ त नाम और ᮧार᭥ भ:- इन िनयमᲂ को भारतीय बेतार टेलीᮕाफᳱ (वािणि᭔ यक रेिडयो ᮧचालक
ᮧवीणता ᮧमाण-पᮢ और वैि᭫ वक समुᮤी आपदा और सुरᭃा ᮧणाली लाइसᱶस) संशोधन िनयमावली,
2016 के नाम से जाना जाएगा।
(2) ये सरकारी राजपᮢ मᱶ ᮧकािशत होने कᳱ तारीख से लागू हᲂगे।

᭭ थान पर “छ: महीनᲂ कᳱ अविध” को ᮧित᭭ थािपत ᳰकया जाएगा ।

भारत के राजपᮢ मᱶ ᮧकािशत कᳱ गई थी।

G.S.R. 186.— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 (13 of 1885),
the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Indian Wireless Telegraphy (Commercial
Radio Operator’s certificate of proficiency and licence to operate Global Maritime Distress and Safety System) Rules
1997, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement: - (1) These rules may be called the Indian Wireless Telegraphy (Commercial
Radio Operator’s certificate of proficiency and licence to operate Global Maritime Distress and Safety System)
Amendment Rules, 2016.
(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

In the Indian Wireless Telegraphy (Commercial Radio Operator’s certificate of proficiency and licence to
operate Global Maritime Distress and Safety System) Rules, 1997, in rule 8, in sub-rule (2), for the words
“period of three months”, the words “period of six months” shall be substituted.
