G.S.R. 41.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, and in supersession

of the National Sugar Institute [Mechanicy (Instrument)/Fine Mechanic] Recruitment Rules, 1989, except as respects things

done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method

of recruitment to the post of Instrument Mechanic in National Sugar Institute, Kanpur in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs,

Food and Public Distribution, Department of Food and Public Distribution, namely :-

1. Short title and commencement. – (1) These rules may be called the National Sugar Institute, Instrument Mechanic,

(Group ‘C’ post) Recruitment Rules, 2017.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Number of post, classification and level in the pay matrix.– The number of the said post, its classification and the

level in the pay matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.

3. Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc. – The method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications and other

matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the Schedule.

Disqualification. – No person,-

(a)

who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or

(b)

who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,

shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:

Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law

applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any

person from the operation of this rule.

5.

Power to relax.- Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it

may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any

class or category of persons.

6.

Savings.- Nothing in these rules shall affect reservations, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions

required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, ex-Servicemen and

other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time

in this regard.

G.S.R. 42.─In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, and in

supersession of the National Sugar Institute, Kanpur {Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) and Cleaner} Recruitment Rules,

2005 and the National Sugar Institute, Kanpur (Tractor Mechanic-cum-Driver and Tractor Driver) Recruitment Rules

2006, except as respect things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the

following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the posts of Tractor Mechanic-cum-Driver and Staff Car Driver in

the National Sugar Institute, Kanpur, Department of Food and Public Distribution, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food

and Public Distribution, namely :-

Short title and commencement.– (1) These rules may be called the National Sugar Institute, Kanpur (Tractor

Mechanic-cum-Driver and Staff Car Driver) Recruitment Rules, 2017.

They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2.

Number of posts, their classification and level in the pay matrix.– The number of posts, its classification, and

level in the pay matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.

3.

Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc.– The method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications and

other matters relating thereto shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule.

4.

Disqualification. – No person,-

(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or

(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person;

shall be eligible for appointment to the said posts:

Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law

applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any

person from the operation of this rule.

5.

Power to relax.- Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it

may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to

any class or category of persons.

6.

Savings.- Nothing in these rules shall affect reservations, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions required

to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Ex-Servicemen, Other Backward Classes and other

special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this

regard.

43.─In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution and in

supersession of the BCG Vaccine Laboratory, Guindy, Madras, (Group ‘C’ Posts), Recruitment Rules, 1981, in so far as

they relate to the post of Motor Driver-cum Cleaner, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such

supersession, the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Motor

Driver in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, BCG Vaccine Laboratory, Guindy, Chennai namely: -

1.

Short title and commencement .- (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare,

BCG Vaccine Laboratory, Guindy, Chennai, Motor Driver (Group ‘C’ Post) Recruitment Rules, 2017.

They shall come into the force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2.

Number of post, classification and Level in the Pay Matrix.- The number of the said post, its classification

and the level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to

these rules.

3.

Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc .- The method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications

and other matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule.

4.

Disqualification. - No person,-

(a)

who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or

(b)

who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person, shall be eligible

for appointment to the said post:

Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law

applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any

person from the operation of this rule.

5.

Power to relax .- Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it

may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any

class or category of persons.

6.

Saving .- Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions required

to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, the Other Backward Classes, the Ex-servicemen and other

special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this

regard.

G.S.R. 45.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President

hereby makes the following rules to amend the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Directorate General of Supplies and

Disposals, Regioal Offices Supplies and Inspection Offices, Multi-Tasking Staff Group ‘C’ Post Recruitment Rules,

2015, namely :-

1. Short title and commencement. -- (1)

These rules may be called the Ministry of Commerce and Industry,

Directorate General of Supplies and Disposals, Regional Offices Supplies and Inspection Offices, Multi-Tasking

Staff Group ‘C’ Post Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2016.

They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

In the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Directorate General of Supplies and Disposals, Regional Offices

Supplies and Inspection Offices, Multi-Tasking Staff Group ‘C’ Post Recruitment Rules 2015, -

(i) for rule 2, the following rule shall be substituted, namely ;-

‘‘2. Number of post, classification, pay band and grade pay or pay scale.-The number of post, its

classification, level in the pay matrix or pay scale attached thereto shall be as specified in colmuns (2) to (4) of the

Schedule anneed to these rules.’’;

(ii) in the Schedule to the rules, in column (4),-

(a) for the heading, the following heading shall be substituted, namely:-

“Level in the pay matrix or pay scale;’’

(b) for the existing entry, the following entry shall be substituted, namely :-

“Level-1 in the pay matrix Rs. 18000 - 56900 ”.
