vk-v- 20.—यतः, भारत ननर्ााचन आयोग का यह समाधान हो गया है दक नीचे की सारणी के स्तंभ (2) में यथा

नर्ननर्िाष् ट आ्ध ्रदिे रा्य नर्धानसभा के साधारण ननर्ााचन, 2014 में, स्तंभ (3) में नर्ननर्िाष् ट ननर्ााचन ्े्र से रर ससके

सामने स्तंभ (4) में सनल्लनित ननर्ााचन लड़ने र्ाला ्रदत्येक अभ्यथी, लोक ्रदनतनननधत्र् अनधननयम, 1951, तथा तद्धीन

बनाए गए ननयमों के अ्तगात यथा अपेन्त सक्त सारणी के स्तम्भ (5) में यथािर् ात अपने ननर्ााचन व्यय का लेिा िानिल

करने में असफल रहा है;

रर यतः, सक्त अभ्यर्थायों ने ननर्ााचन आयोग द्वारा सम्यक नोटटस दिए जाने के बार्जूि, सक्त असफलता के नलए

कोई कारण र् स्पष्टीकरण नहीं दिया है, या सनके द्वारा दिए गए अभ्यार्ेिन, यदि कोई हों, पर नर्चार करने के सपरा्त,

ननर्ााचन आयोग का यह समाधान हो गया है दक सक्त असफलता के नलए सनके पास कोई सपयुक्त या ्यायोनचत कारण नहीं

है;

अतः, अब, सक्त अनधननयम की धारा 10क के अनुसरण में, ननर्ााचन आयोग, नीचे की सारणी के स्तंभ 4 में नर्ननर्िाष् ट

व्यनक्तयों को संसि के दकसी भी सिन या रा्य या संघ ानसत ्े्र की नर्धानसभा अथर्ा नर्धान पटरषि के नलए सिस्य चुने

जाने या होने के नलए इस आिे की तारीि से तीन र्षा की अर्नध के नलए ननरर्हात घोनषत करता है:—

New Delhi,the 8th June, 2017

O.N. 22.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 13A of the Representation of the

People Act, 1950 (43 of 1950), the Election Commission of India in consultation with the Government of Chhattisgarh

hereby nominates Shri Subrat Sahoo, IAS, (CG:1992) as the Chief Electoral Officer for the State of Chhattisgarh with

effect from the date he takes over charge and until further orders vice Smt. Nidhi Chhibber, IAS.

Shri Subrat Sahoo shall cease to hold and hand over forthwith the charge of all or any charges of work under the

Government of Chhattisgarh, which he may be holding before such assumption of office.

Shri Subrat Sahoo while functioning as the Chief Electoral Officer, Chhattisgarh shall not hold any additional

charge whatsoever under the Government of Chhattisgarh except that he should be designated Secretary to the

Government in charge of Election Department in the State Secretariat.
