G.S.R. 229.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with clauses (a) and (c) of sub-section

(2) of section 155 of the Sashastra Seema Bal Act, 2007 (53 of 2007), the Central Government hereby makes the

following rules to amend the Sashastra Seema Bal Combatised Medics Cadre ( Non-professional) Group ‘B’ and ‘C’

posts Recruitment Rules, 2012, namely:—

(1) These rules may be called the Sashastra Seema Bal Combatised Medics Cadre (Non-professional) Group ‘B’

and ‘C’ posts Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2017.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

In the Sashastra Seema Bal Combatised Medics Cadre (Non-professional) Group ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts Recruitment

Rules, 2012 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), for rule 3, the following rule shall be substituted,

namely:—

“3. Number of posts, classification and level in the pay matrix.—The number of posts, their classification

and level in the pay matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in column (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to

these rules.” ;

In the said rules, in the Schedule,—

(a) against serial number 1 relating to the post of Sub-Inspector (Medic),—

(A) in column (4),-

(i)

for the heading , the following heading shall be substituted, namely:-

“Level in the pay matrix.” ;

(ii)

for the existing entry, the following entry shall be substituted, namely:-

in suppression of the Ministry of Law and Justice, Legislative Department, Vidhi Sahitya Prakashan, Multi

Tasking Staff. Group ‘C’ Posts Recruitment Rules, 2013, the President hereby makes the following rules

regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Multi Tasking Staff in the Ministry of Law and Justice,

Legislative Department, Vidhi Sahitya Prakashan, namely:—

Short title and commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Law and Justice,

Legislative Department, Vidhi Sahitya Prakashan, Multi Tasking Staff (Group ‘C’ post) Recruitment

Rules, 2017.

(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

Number of posts, classification and level in pay matrix.—The number of post, its classification

and level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule

annexed to these rules.

Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualification, etc.—The method of recruitment to the said post,

age-limit, qualification and other matters relating thereto shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13)

of the said Schedule.

Disqualification.— No person,-

(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or

(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,

shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:

Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law

applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any

person from the operation of this rule.

Power to relax.—Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient to do

so, it may, by order, and for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules

with respect to any class or category of persons.

Saving.—Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions

required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Ex-Servicemen or any other special

category of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in

Short title and commencement.—(1) These rules may be called Ministry of Human Resource Development,

the said Schedule.

Disqualification.—No person,-

(a)

who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or

(b)

who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person, shall

be eligible for appointment to the said post;

Provided that, the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible

under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there

are other grounds for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of these rules.

Power to relax .—Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or

expedient so to do, it may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing, and in consultation

with Union Public Service Commission, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any

class or category of persons.

Saving .—Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age-limit and other

concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, the the

ex-Servicemen and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the

Central Government from time to time in this regard.

President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Multi -Tasking Staff, in

the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, BCG Vaccine Laboratory, Guindy, Chennai, namely: —

Short title and commencement .—(1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare,

BCG Vaccine Laboratory, Guindy, Chennai, Multi-Tasking Staff (Group ‘C’ post) Recruitment Rules, 2017.
