जयपुर’, ‘, टेट बक ऑफ़ हैदराबाद’, ‘, टेट बक ऑफ़ मैसूर’, ‘, टेट बक ऑफ़ पटयाला’, ‘, टेट बक ऑफ़ Aावनकोर’ और ‘भारतीय महला

बक’ को उ< त अ.ध0नयम क4 दूसर अनुसूची से हटा दया जाए < य=Yक उ< त बक= Lवारा उ< त दनांक से बYकंग कारोबार करना बंद Yकया

DBR. No. Ret.BC.57/12.06.004/2017-18—Whereas, the Central Government has, in exercise of the powers

conferred by sub-section (2) of section 35 of the State Bank of India Act, 1955 ( 2 of 1955), accorded its sanction, vide

notifications G.S.R 156(E), 157(E), 158(E), 159(E) and 160(E) dated February 22, 2017 published in the Gazette of India

on February 22, 2017 and vide notification G.S.R 269(E) published in the Gazette of India on March 20, 2017, to the

acquisition of State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur, State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Patiala,

State Bank of Travancore and Bharatiya Mahila Bank by the State Bank of India with effect from April 01, 2017;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub section (6) of section 42 of the Reserve

Bank of India Act, 1934 ( 2 of 1934 ), the Reserve Bank of India hereby directs the exclusion of the ‘State Bank of Bikaner

and Jaipur’, ‘State Bank of Hyderabad’, ‘State Bank of Mysore’, ‘State Bank of Patiala’,‘State Bank of Travancore’ and

‘Bharatiya Mahila Bank’ from the Second Schedule to the said Act with effect from April 01, 2017 as those banks would

cease to carry on banking business with effect from that date.
