No. F. 3-12/2014-BTI—In supersession of this Ministry’s Resolution of even number dated 12th September, 2014,

the Central Government hereby frames the Recruitment Rules, for the post of Vice-Chancellor, Nava Nalanda Mahavihara

(NNM), Nalanda, Bihar, an autonomous body registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860.

2. These Rules shall be called “Recruitment Rules for the post of Vice-Chancellor, Nava Nalanda Mahavihara

(NNM), Nalanda, Bihar”.

3. These Rules shall come into force with immediate effect.

4. It is ordered that the Resolution be published in the Gazette of India for general information.

5. It is also ordered that a copy of the Resolution be communicated to all the Ministries and Department of the

Government of India and to all the State Governments and Union Territories.

i. Doctorate Degree in Buddhist

Studies/Buddhist Philosophy/Pali

from a recognized University.

ii. Knowledge and fluency in written

and spoken Hindi and English

languages.

iii. Evidence of outstanding research

and

published

works

in

national/inter-national journals of

repute or as well acknowledged

books in the field of Buddhist

Studies.
