G.S.R. 359.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with clause (a) and (c) of sub-section

(2) of section 155 of the Sashastra Seema Bal Act, 2007 (53 of 2007), the Central Government hereby makes the

following rules to amend the Sashastra Seema Bal Combatised Inspector, Junior Hindi Translator, Ministerial (Non-

Gazetted) Group 'B' post Recruitment Rules, 2011, namely:—

1. (1)

These rules shall be called the Sashastra Seema Bal Combatised Inspector, Junior Hindi Translator, Ministerial

(Non-Gazetted) Group 'B' post, Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2017.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

In the Sashastra Seema Bal Combatised Inspector, Junior Hindi Translator, Ministerial (Non-Gazetted) Group

'B' post Recruitment Rules, 2011,-

(a)

in rule 1, in sub-rule (1) for the figure "2011", the figure "2012" shall be substituted;

(b) for rule 3, the following rule shall be substituted, namely :-

"3. Number of posts, classification and level in the pay matrix.—The number of posts, their classification

and level in the pay matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in column (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these

rules.".

President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Sashastra Seema Bal (Non-Combatised) Hindi Staff Group

'A' and 'B' Posts Recruitment Rules, 2012, namely:-

(1) These rules may be called the Sashastra Seema Bal (Non-Combatised) Hindi Staff Group 'A' and 'B' Posts

Recruitment (Amendment) Rules 2017.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

In the Sashastra Seema Bal (Non-Combatised) Hindi Staff Group 'A' and 'B' Posts Recruitment Rules, 2012

(hereinafter referred to as the said rules), for rule 3, the following rule shall be substituted, namely :-

"3. Number of posts, classification and level in the pay matrix.- The number of posts, their classification

(Amendment) Rules, 2017.

(2). They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

In the Sashastra Seema Bal Group 'A' Combatised Veterinary Officers, Recruitment Rules, 2013 (hereinafter

referred to as the said rules), for rule 2, the following rule shall be substituted, namely :-

"2. Number of posts, classification and level in the pay matrix.- The number of posts, their classification and

the level in the pay matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in column (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these

rules.";

G.S.R.362.—In exercise of powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the

President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the posts of Laboratory

Assistant in the National Fire Service College, Nagpur under the Ministry of Home Affairs, namely:-

Short title and commencement.- (a) These rules may be called the National Fire Service College, Nagpur

(Laboratory Assistant) Recruitment Rules, 2017.

(b) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2.

Number of posts, classification and level in the pay matrix .- The number of the posts, their classification and

the level in the pay matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to

these rules.

3.

Method of recruitment, age-limit and qualification, etc. - The method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications

and other matters relating thereto, shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule.

4.

Disqualification.- No person,-

(a) Who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having spouse living, or

(b) Who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,

shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:

Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law

applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for doing, exempt any

person from the operation of this rule.

5.

Power to relax.- Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may,

by order and for reason to be recorded in writing and relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any

class or category of persons.

6.

Saving. - Nothing in these rules shall affect reservations, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions required to

be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, the Other Backward Classes, Ex-Servicemen and other

special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in

this regard.

G.S.R.363.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the president

hereby makes the following rules to amend the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Industrial Policy and

Promotion (Principal Library and Information Officer and Director and Assistant Library and Information Officer)

Recruitment Rules, 2012, namely:-

1. (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion

(Principal Library and Information Officer and Director and Assistant Library and Information Officer) Recruitment

(Amendment) Rules, 2017.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. For rule 2 of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (Principal

Library and Information Officer and Director and Assistant Library and Information Officer) Recruitment Rules, 2012,

the following rule shall be substituted, namely:-

“ 2. Number of posts, classification and Level in Pay Matrix.— The number of the said posts, their classification and

the Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these

rules”.

3. In the Schedule to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (Principal

Library and Information Officer and Director and Assistant Library and Information Officer) Recruitment Rules,

2012, —

(a) against serial number 1, relating to the post of Principal Library and Information Officer and Director, —

िवमान संरचना, एयरो इंजन, िवमान णाली, मौसम

िवSान और िवमान यातायात िनयं+ण जैसे सभी िवषय#

वेतन मैGHस के Iतर 12 म. सदृश पद# या पद धारण

करने वाले ऐसे सशƒ बल काaमक िजह#ने सेना, वायु

सेना और नौ सेना म. पांच वष6 क1 अह6क सेवा क1 हो, जो

एक वष6 क1 अविध के भीतर सेवा िनवृ@ होने वाले ह4 या

Gरजव6 म. Iथानांतरण होने वाले ह4 तथा िजनके पास

अपेि:त अह6ता और अनुभव हो पर भी िवचार कया

जायेगा, ऐसे €ि!य# क1 ितिनयुि! िनबधन उस

तारीख तक दया जायेगा िजसको उह. सTƒ बल# से

िनमु6! कया जाता है तपशात वे पुaनयोजन पर बने रह

सक. गे।

G.S.R.364.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution and in

supersession of the Civil Aviation Department, (Directorate of Air Safety, Group ‘A’ Posts) Recruitment Rules, 2010,

except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the following

rules, regulating the method of recruitment to the posts of Director, Deputy Director, Assistant Director and Air Safety

Officer in the Directorate of Air Safety, Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation, namely:—

1.

Short title and commencement. – (i) These rules may be called the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Directorate

General of Civil Aviation, Director, Deputy Director, Assistant Director and Air Safety Officer in Air Safety Directorate,

Recruitment Rules 2017.

(ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2.

Application.—These rules shall apply to the posts specified in column (1) of the Schedule annexed to these

rules.

3.

Number of posts, classification and level in pay matrix etc., — The number of the posts, their classification

and level in pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.

4.

Method of recruitment, age-limit and other qualifications.—The method of recruitment, age-limit,

qualifications and other matters relating thereto shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the aforesaid Schedule.

5.

Disqualification. – No Person -

(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living, or

(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person.

shall be eligible for appointment to the said posts:

Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law

applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds, for so doing, exempt any

person from the operation of this rule.

6.

Power to relax .– Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it

may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing and in consultation with the Union Public Service Commission,

relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.

7.

Saving. – Nothing in these rules shall affect reservations, relaxation of age limit and other concessions required

to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, the Other Backward Classes, the Ex-Serviceman and

other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in

this regard.
