Subject: Constitution of Steel Consumers’ Council --- regarding.

No. 5(3)/2016-SDI—In continuation of Ministry of Steel Resolution of even number dated 21.12.2016 and

19.01.2017 the following addition is notified to the Steel Consumers’ Council of Ministry of Steel under the category (V)

Steel Consumers.

2. The Council shall continue till its Chairman holds the office of Steel Minister. The initial tenure of the SCC will

be two years from the date of this Resolution unless specifically extended or curtailed by the Central Government. The SCC

shall meet as and when required.

ORDER

Ordered that a copy of the above Resolution be communicated to all the State Governments, Union Territory

Administrations, all the Ministries and the Departments of the Government of India including the Prime Minister’s Office,

Cabinet Secretariat, Parliament Secretariat, Planning Commission and the Comptroller and Auditor General of India and all

the members of the Steel Consumers’ Council.

2. Ordered also that it be published in the Gazette of India for general information.
