New Delhi, the 10^th April, 2018

O.N. 22.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 13A of the Representation of the

People Act, 1950 (43 of 1950), the Election Commission of India in consultation with the Administration of Union

Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands hereby nominates Shri Vikram Dev Dutt, IAS (AGMUT:1993) as the Chief

Electoral Officer for the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands with effect from the date he takes over charge

and until further orders vice Shri S.C.L. Das, IAS.

Shri Vikram Dev Dutt shall cease to hold and hand over forthwith the charge of all or any charges of work

under the Administration of Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, which he may be holding before such

assumption of office.

Shri Vikram Dev Dutt while functioning as the Chief Electoral Officer, Andaman and Nicobar Islands shall not

hold any additional charge whatsoever under the Administration of the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands

except that he should be designated Secretary to the Administration of the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar

Islands in-charge of Election Department in the Union Territory Secretariat.

से आ है, $तLभ (4) म. उसके सामने िविनNदO िनवाचन लड़ने वाला येक अTयथU, लोक ितिनिधव अिधिनयम, 1951

तथा तWीन बनाए गए िनयम ारा अपेित उ सारणी के $तLभ (5) म. यथा-दXशत अपने िनवाचन Yय का लेखा दािखल

करने म. असफल रहे ह[; और

जब/क, उ अTयXथय ने सLयक् सूचना /दए जाने पर भी उ असफलता के िलए या तो कोई कारण अथवा

$पOीकरण नह6 /दया है या उनके ारा /दए गए अTयावेदन पर, य/द कोई हो, िवचार करने के प^ात् िनवाचन आयोग का
