The Council shall continue till its Chairman holds the office of Steel Minister. The initial tenure of the SCC will be

two years from the date of this Resolution unless specifically extended or curtailed by the Central Government. The SCC

shall meet as and when required.

Ordered that a copy of the above Resolution be communicated to all the State Governments, Union Territory

Administrations, all the Ministries and the Departments of the Government of India including the Prime Minister’s Office,

Cabinet Secretariat, Parliament Secretariat, Planning Commission and the Comptroller and Auditor General of India and all
