2. The above officers reported to DoPT to avail this promotion and till issue of this order, may be treated as “on
duty” for all purposes. The pay and allowances for this period will be paid to the officers by this Department.

The period of adhoc promotion would be upto 31.12.2019 or till the posts are filled up on regular basis or until

(ii)
The adhoc promotion shall not confer any right to continue in the grade indefinitely or for inclusion in the
Select List for regular appointments or to claim seniority in the Section Officers’ Grade of CSS;
(iii) The adhoc appointments may be terminated at any point of time without giving any reasons thereof;
(iv) The service on adhoc basis in the Section Officers’ Grade would not count for the purpose of seniority in that
grade or for promotion to the next higher grade or for grant of NFS.
