p2वतीय. यह पदक वृ8ताकार, कु"ो-नकेल से बना 35 +म+लमीटर }यास का होगा तथा मानक जुड़नार के साथ एक fलेन Jैतज

शलाका से जुड़ा होगा। इसके अ~भाग म> राजकwय च•न उभरा होगा तथा वृ8त म> ऊपर तथा नीचे Vकनार0 से लगा

हुआ “30 वषyय तटरJक सेवा” अं~ेजी तथा हंद म> उ8कwण/ होगा। इसके पdच भाग के मGय म> तटरJक का "तीक

No. 37-Pres//2019—The President is pleased to institute 30 Years Coast Guard Service Medal for the personnel of

Coast Guard in recognition of 30 years of unblemished service rendered by them. The medal shall be deemed to have been

instituted from the date of issue of this notification.

Firstly.

This medal shall be styled and designated, as “30 वषय तटरक सेवा पदक”/ “30 Years Coast Guard Service

Medal”.

Secondly. The medal shall be circular in shape, made of Cupro-nickel, 35 millimetres in diameter and fitted to a plain

horizontal bar with standard fitting. It shall have embossed on its obverse the State Emblem and the inscriptions

“30 YEARS TATRAKSHAK SEVA" in English and Hindi above and below it along the rim. On its reverse, it

shall have crest of the Coast Guard and its motto in the centre. The sealed pattern of the medal shall be deposited

and kept.

Thirdly.

The medal shall be worn suspended from left breast by a silk ribbon which shall be 32 millimetres in width. The

30 years Coast Guard service ribbon shall be of three alternate sky blue and navy blue bars placed vertically as

background with three horizontal silver white waves of 2 millimetres in width in the centre, lengthwise from one

side to the other. The background colour will have two sky blue bars of 10.67 millimetres each on outer side and

navy blue bar of 10.66 millimetres in the middle.

Fourthly.

The medal shall be awarded to all serving Coast Guard personnel, on completion of unblemished service of

30 years on the date of issue of this notification or thereafter.

Fifthly.

The miniature medal which may be worn on certain occasion by recipients shall be half the size of the medal.

A sealed pattern of the said miniature medal shall be deposited and kept.

Sixthly.

It shall be competent for the President to cancel and annul the award of the medal to any person and also restore

it subsequently. Notice of cancellation or restoration in every case shall be published in the Gazette of India.

Seventhly. It shall be competent for the Government to frame such instructions as may be necessary to carry out the

purposes of these notifications.
