The officer(s) who fail to avail ad-hoc promotion would not be considered for ad-hoc promotion

for a period of one year from the date of issue of the promotin order by the Cadre Unit.

(vi)

The ASOs in the zone who are on Level ‘B’ Training as on 01.07.2019 and have been found fit by

the Screening Committee, shall submit their joining report for joining the promotional post on ad-

hoc basis to their concerned Ministry/Department and these officers shall be deemed to have

assumed the charge of the promotional post from the date of submission of joining report.

(vii)

The exemption from mandatory training has been granted for adhoc promotions only. The officers

promoted on ad-hoc basis shall have to undergo Level “B” training programme as and when

nominated by DoPT unless they fall in the exempted category, before their regular promotions.

Failure to do so may attract relevant provisions of CSS Rules, 2009 and Regulations there-under

and the Cadre Training Plan (CTP) for CSS officers, including reversion to their substantive grade

i.e. ASO grade.

(viii)

If any of the officers included in the zone is on deputation, he/she may give his/her willingness to

avail ad-hoc promotion within one week of the issue of promotion order and will have to join the

cadre unit within one month to avail ad-hoc promotion.

(ix)

The ad-hoc promotion will remain subject to outcome of:

(a)

The SLP(C) No. 30621/2011 arising out of final judgment and order dated
