G.S.R. 262.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the

President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Ministry of Urban Development, Central Public Works

Department, Subordinate Offices, Senior Hindi Translator and Junior Hindi Translator Group 'B' post Recruitment

Rules,2012, namely: -

1. (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Central Public Works Department

Subordinate Offices, Senior Hindi Translator and Junior Hindi Translator Group 'B' post Recruitment (Amendment)

Rules, 2019.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Ministry of Urban Development Central Public Works Department, Subordinate Offices, Senior Hindi

Translator and Junior Hindi Translator Group 'B' post Recruitment Rules,2012 (hereinafter referred to as the said

rules),-

(i) In rule 1, in sub- rule (1), for the figures '2012', the figures '2013' shall be substituted;

(ii) For rule 2, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:-

"2. Number of post, classification and level in the pay matrix.- The number of said post, its classification and

level in the pay matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2)to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these

rules".

3. In the said rules, in the Schedule,-

(a) against serial number 1, relating to the post of Junior Hindi Translator,-

(i) In column (4) for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted,

namely:-

"Level in the pay matrix.

(ii) in column (10), for the words, figures, bracket and letters " the scale of pay of pay band-1, (Rs. 5200-20200) with

substituted;

(b) against serial number 2, relating tc the post of Senior Hindi Translator,-

(i) In column (4) for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:-

G.S.R.263.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution and in

supersession of the Sanitary Superintendent, Group-‘C’, Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi Recruitment Rules ,1986 ,

except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the following

rules regulating the method of recruitment to the said post of Sanitary Superintendent in Ministry of Health and Family

Welfare, Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi, namely:-

Short title and commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare,

Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi, Sanitary Superintendent (Group ‘C’ post) Recruitment Rules, 2019.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

Number of post, classification and level in pay matrix.—The number of the said post, its classification and

level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these

rules.

Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc. .—The method of recruitment age-limit, qualifications

and other matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule.

Disqualification.—No person,—

(a)

who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living , or

(b)

who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,

shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:

Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law

applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any

person from the operation of this rule.

Power to relax.—Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it

may, by order, and for reasons to be recorded in writing and in consultation with the Union Public Service Commission,

relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.

Saving.—Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions required

to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Ex-servicemen and other

special categories of persons, in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this

regard.

G.S.R.265.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution and in

supersession of the Safdarjang Hospital (Class III posts) Recruitment Rules, 1973 in so far they relate to the post of

Sanitary Inspector, in the Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before

such supersession, the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the said

post of Sanitary Inspector in Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi, namely:-

1. Short title and commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare,

Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, Sanitary Inspector (Group ‘C’ post) Recruitment Rules, 2019.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Number of post, classification, level in the pay matrix.—The number of the said post, its classification and level

in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.

3. Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc. .—The method of recruitment age-limit, qualifications and

other matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule.

4. Disqualification.—No person,—

(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living , or

(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,

shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:

Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law

applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt any

person from the operation of this rule.

5. Power to relax.—Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may,

by order, and for reasons to be recorded in writing and in consultation with the Union Public Service Commission,

relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.

6. Saving .— Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions required to

be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Ex-servicemen and other

special categories of persons, in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in

this regard.
