Service rendered on ad-hoc basis in the Grade-I (Under Secretary) would not count for the purpose of seniority in that grade

or for promotion to the next higher grade. This ad-hoc appointment may be terminated at any point of time without giving

any reason thereof.

3. The above continuation of the ad-hoc promotion shall be subject to the final outcome of the SLP(C)

No.30621/2011 (Jarnail Singh & Ors. Vs. Lachhmi Narain Gupta & Ars.), the SLP(C) No.31288/2017, the SLP (C)

Nos.5724-5725/2019 and any other court case in connected matter. The continuation of the ad-hoc promotion beyond
