MULTI COMMODITY EXCHANGE CLEARING

CORPORATION LIMITED

Securities and Exchange Board of India ("SEBI"), in exercise

of its powers under Section 9 of the Securities Contracts

(Regulation) Act, 1956, vide its email dated November 26, 2020

approved the following amendments in the Bye-laws of Multi

Commodity Exchange Clearing Corporation Limited

("MCXCCL"). The amendments to the Bye-laws of MCXCCL

shall be effective from the date of its publication in the Gazette

of India.

AMENDMENTS IN THE BYE-LAWS OF MCXCCL

The following new Bye law shall be inserted after Bye law

7.4.3 of MCXCCL Bye Laws of MCXCCL.

" 7.4.4. The Clearing Corporation shall instruct the

concerned Bank (s) to freeze the bank accounts maintained

by the member, for all debit/withdrawal by the member in the

event of potential default by the member in meeting its

obligations to the Clearing Corporation and/or repayment of

securities/funds to his/its clients. For this purpose, the

members of the Clearing Corporation will submit an undertaking

to the Clearing Corporation, as per prescribed format, for

authorizing the Clearing Corporation to instruct the concerned

bank to freeze the bank account for all debit /withdrawal from

such accounts".
