इस सिमित का कायᭅ भारत के संिवधान मᱶ राजभाषा के बारे मᱶ की गई ᭪ यव᭭ था, राजभाषा अिधिनयम तथा उसके अंतगᭅत बनाए गए

िनयमᲂ, कᱶᮤीय िहंदी सिमित के िनणᭅयᲂ तथा गृह मंᮢालय (राजभाषा िवभाग) ᳇ारा जारी िकए गए अनुदेशᲂ के कायाᭅ᭠वयन और रेल मंᮢालय

एवं उसके संब᳍/अधीन᭭ थ कायाᭅलयᲂ के कामकाज मᱶ िहंदी का ᮧयोग बढ़ाने के बारे मᱶ सलाह देना होगा।

3. सिमित का कायᭅकाल

इस सिमित का कायᭅकाल, इसके गठन की तारीख से तीन वषᭅ का होगा. जो संसद सद᭭य, इस सिमित के सद᭭य हᱹ, वे सदन के भंग

होने अथवा अपना कायᭅकाल समा᳙ होने पर या अ᭠यथा सदन का सद᭭य नहᱭ रहने पर, इस सिमित के सद᭭य नहᱭ रहᱶगे। इस सिमित मᱶ कोई

सिमित का कायᭅकाल घटाया या बढ़ाया जा सकता है।

4. याᮢा तथा अ᭠ य भᱫे

इस सिमित की बैठकᲂ मᱶ भाग लेने के िलए गैर-सरकारी सद᭭ यᲂ को रेलवे बोडᭅ के िदनांक 09/08/2016 के पᮢ सं िहंदी/सिमित/

2015/38/2 मᱶ िनिहत एवं समय-समय पर यथासंशोिधत िदशा-िनदᱷशᲂ के अनुᱨप वाहन और दैिनक भ᭜ ता िदया जाएगा तथा याᮢा के िलए

रेलवे चैक पास जारी िकए जाएंगे। ये रेलवे चैक पास गैर-सरकारी सद᭭ यᲂ के िनवास ᭭ थान के िनकटतम रेलवे ᭭ टेशन से बैठक के ᭭ थान तक

ᮧथम ᮰ेणी/ि᳇तीय ᮰ेणी वातानुकूिलत मᱶ उसी ᮰ेणी मᱶ सहचर सिहत आने-जाने की याᮢा के िलए जारी िकए जाएंगे। ये रेलवे चैक पास

राजधानी तथा शता᭣ दी गािड़यᲂ के ि᳇तीय ᮰ेणी वातानुकूिलत तथा कुसᱮयान मᱶ सहचर सिहत याᮢा के िलए भी मा᭠ य हᲂगे ।

5. सामा᭠य

इस सिमित का मु᭎ यालय रेल भवन, नई िद᭨ ली मᱶ होगा तथा सिमित की बैठकᱶ नई िद᭨ ली मᱶ आयोिजत की जाएंगी। (ᮧािधकार: गृह

II.

Functions of the Committee

The functions of the Committee will be the implementation of the Official Language Policy as envisaged in the

Constitution of India, Official Language Act & the Rules made there under, decisions of the Kendriya Hindi Samiti and the

instructions issued by the M/o Home Affairs (Department of Official Language) and also to render advice to increase the use

of Hindi in the working of the Ministry of Railways and in its Attached and Subordinate offices.

III. Tenure of the Committee

The tenure of the Committee will be for three years from the date of its constitution. The members of the parliament,

who are members of the Committee, shall cease to be member of the Committee on the dissolution of the House or on expiry

of their term or otherwise ceasing to be members of the House. If a vacancy arises in the Committee, the member nominated

against that vacancy shall hold office for the remaining period. Under Special Circumstances, the tenure of the Committee

may be curtailed or extended.

IV. Travelling and other allowances

For attending the meetings of the Committee, payment of Transport and Daily Allowance to the Non-Official

Members will be governed by the guidelines issued vide Railway Board’s letter No. Hindi/Samiti/2015/38/2 dated

09.08.2016 and directions issued from time to time in this regard and Railway cheque pass for conducting journey will also

be issued. These Railway cheque Pass will be issued to the non-official members of Railway Hindi Salahakar Samiti from

the nearest railway station of the residence to the place of meeting for travel in First Class/IInd AC with Companion in the

same Class for to and fro journey. These railway cheque pass will also be valid in IInd AC and Chair Car of Rajdhani and

Shatabdi trains with companion.

V. General

The Headquarters of the Committee shall be at Rail Bhavan, New Delhi and the meetings of this Committee will be
