सिमित के कायᭅ:

सिमित का कायᭅ संिवधान मᱶ यथा उि᭨लिखत राजभाषा स᭥ब᭠धी िस᳍ा᭠तᲂ, राजभाषा अिधिनयम, 1963 और उसके अंतगᭅत बनाए

गए िनयमᲂ, के᭠ᮤीय िह᭠दी सिमित के नीितगत िनणᭅयᲂ एवं गृह मंᮢालय (राजभाषा िवभाग) ᳇ारा राजभाषा के संबंध मᱶ जारी िकए गए अनुदेशᲂ

के कायाᭅ᭠वयन के संबंध मᱶ िविध और ᭠याय मंᮢालय (िवधायी िवभाग और िविध कायᭅ िवभाग) मᱶ िह᭠दी के ᮧगामी ᮧयोग के बारे मᱶ के᭠ᮤ सरकार

को सलाह देना होगा ।

3.

कायᭅकाल:

(i)

सिमित का कायᭅकाल इसके गठन की तारीख से तीन वषᭅ होगा, पर᭠तु सिमित मᱶ नाम िनिदᭅ᳥ संसद सद᭭य, संसद के सद᭭य न

रहने के समय से इस सिमित के भी सद᭭य नहᱭ रहᱶगे; और

(ii) म᭟ याविध िरि᭍ तयᲂ के िवᱨ᳍ िनयुᲦ सद᭭य सिमित के कायᭅकाल की शेष अविध के िलए ही सद᭭य रहᱶगे।

4.

सामा᭠य:

(i)

सिमित का मु᭎यालय नई िद᭨ली मᱶ होगा; और

(ii) गैर सरकारी सद᭭यᲂ को उनके िनवास ᭭थान से बैठक के ᭭थान तक सबसे कम दूरी वाले रा᭭ते से उनकी पाᮢता संबंधी दरᲂ पर

याᮢा भᱫा िदया जाएगा । उ᭠हᱶ सिमित की बैठक मᱶ शािमल होने के िलए उ᭒ च अिधकार ᮧा᳙ सिमित के सद᭭यᲂ के िलए यथा

᭭ वीकृत दैिनक भᱫा भी िदया जाएगा ।

आदेश

आदेश िदया जाता है िक इस संक᭨प की ᮧित रा᳦पित सिचवालय/ᮧधान मंᮢी कायाᭅलय/मंिᮢमंडल सिचवालय/संसदीय कायᭅ

मंᮢालय/लोक सभा सिचवालय/रा᭔य सभा सिचवालय/भारत के िनयंᮢक एवं महालेखा परीᭃक/संघ लोक सेवा आयोग/नीित आयोग/िनदेशक,

लेखा परीᭃा, के᭠ᮤीय राज᭭व, नई िद᭨ली और भारत सरकार के सभी मंᮢालयᲂ और िवभागᲂ को भेजी जाए ।

यह भी आदेश िदया जाता है िक इस संक᭨प को सवᭅ साधारण की जानकारी के िलए भारत के राजपᮢ मᱶ ᮧकािशत िकया जाए और

Functions of the Samiti:

The functions of the Samiti will be to advise the Central Government on matters relating to the implementation of

the principles in respect of Official Language as given in the Constitution, the Official Languages Act,1963 and the Rules

made thereunder, the policy decisions of the Kendriya Hindi Samiti and instructions issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs

(Department of Official Language) relating to Official Language with regard to the progressive use of Hindi in the Ministry

of Law and Justice (Legislative Department and Department of Legal Affairs).

TENURE :

(i)

The tenure of the Samiti will be of three years from the date of its reconstitution, provided that a Member of

Parliament nominated to the Samiti shall cease to be a member of the Samiti as soon as he/she ceases to be a

Member of Parliament; and

(ii)

the Members appointed against mid-term vacancies shall be the Members for the remaining period of the

tenure of the Samiti.

4.

GENERAL :

(i)

The Headquarters of the Samiti shall be at New Delhi.

(ii)

The non-official Members will be paid travelling allowance by shortest route from their residence to the place

of meeting as per their entitlement. They will also be paid daily allowance as admissible to the members of a

High Powered Committee for attending the meetings of the Samiti.

Ordered that a copy of this Resolution be communicated to:—
