2. The appointment of the aforesaid officer to the post of Director of CSS cadre on regular basis on inclusion in

SSGSL 2023 will remain subject to further orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the Civil Appeal No. 629 of 2022

arising out of SLP(C) No. 30621/2011 titled Shri Jarnail Singh & Ors. Vs. Lachhmi Narain Gupta & Ors. and other connected

matters.

3. Under the provisions of FR 22(1)(a)(1), the officer is entitled to exercise his option for pay fixation within 30 days
