विभाग द्वारा नामांदकि होने पर इसमें भाग लेना होगा। ऐसा करने में विफल रहने पर उनके मूल ग्रेड अिायि सहायक अनुभाग

2. The period of extension of ad-hoc appointment beyond 31.12.2023 shall further be subject to the following
conditions:—
i.
The ad-hoc appointment shall not confer any right on the appointees to continue in the grade indefinitely or for
inclusion in the Select List of Section Officers for regular appointment or to claim seniority in the Section
Officers’ Grade of CSS or for promotion to the next higher grade or for grant of NFS.
ii.
The officers who have not yet completed the Level B training shall have to attend the same as and when
nominated by DoP&T before regular promotion. Failure to do so may attract administrative action including
reversion to their substantive grade i.e. ASO grade.
iii.
The extension of term of ad-hoc promotion will remain subject to outcome in Civil Appeal No. 629/2022 and
other related cases pending before the Hon’ble Supreme Court in reservation matters and the orders of any
competent court in any connected matters and seniority/promotion matters in SO/ASO/SSA grades pending
before any competent court.

Civil Appeal No. 629/2022 in Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and connected matters (Jarnail Singh batch of
cases);

SLP No. 30621/2011 in the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India;
iii.
SLP No. 31288/2017 in the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India; and,
iv.
Any other court cases before/orders of the competent courts of law having bearing on the results of the
examinations under reference.
