S.R.O. 66.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the
President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Armed Forces Headquarters Official Language Service
(Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ Posts) Rules, 2022, namely :-
1.
Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Armed Forces Headquarters Official
Language Service (Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ Posts) Amendment Rules, 2024.
(2)
They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2.
In the, Armed Forces Headquarters Official Language Service (Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ Posts) Rules, 2022, in
Schedule VII, -
(a)
in Sl. No. 1 relating to the post of Director (Official Language), in the entry, after the words “Union
Public Service Commission is ”, the word “ not” shall be inserted.
(b)
in Sl. No. 2 relating to the post of Joint Director (Official Language), in the entry, after the words
“Union Public Service Commission is ”, the word “not” shall be inserted.

का.जन.आ. 67.— राष्ट्रपजत, संजविान के अनुच्छेि 309 के परन्तुक द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए और नौसेना
समूि ‘क’ रािपजत्रत पि, (मेजडकल दफजिजसस्ट्ि और व्यवसाजयक जचदकत्सक) पि भती जनयम, 2002, उन बातों के जसवाय
अजिक्रांत करते हुए जिन्िे ऐसे अजिक्रमण से पूवि दकया गया िै या करने से लोप दकया गया िै, रक्षा मंत्रालय भारतीय नौसेना में
मेजडकल दफजिजसस्ट्ि और व्यवसाजयक जचदकत्सक के पिों पर भती का जवजनयमन करने के जलए जनम्नजलजखत जनयम बनाती िैं,
अथाित:
1.
संजक्षप्त नाम और प्रारम्भ: (1) इन जनयमों का संजक्षप्त नाम रक्षा मंत्रालय भारतीय नौसेना मेजडकल दफजिजसस्ट्ि और
व्यवसाजयक जचदकत्सक (समूि ‘क’ पि) भती जनयम, 2024 िै।
(2) ये रािपत्र में उनके प्रकािन की तारीख से प्रवृत िोंगे।

आवेिन: ये जनयम इन जनयमों से संलग्न अनुसूची के स्तंभ (1) में जनर्ििष्ट पद ं पर लागू िोंगे।

पि-संख्या, वगीकरण और वेतनमान - उक्त पिों की संख्या, उनका वगीकरण और उनके वेतनमान वे िोंगे, िो इन
जनयमों से उपाबद्ध अनुसूची के स्ट्तंभ (2) से स्ट्तंभ (4) में जवजनर्ििष्ट िैं।
4.
भती की पद्धजत, आयु सीमा अन्य अििताएं, आदि - भती की पद्धजत, आयु सीमा, अििताएं और उससे संबंजित अन्य बातें
वे िोंगी िो उक्त अनुसूची के स्ट्तंभ (5) से स्ट्तंभ (13) में जवजनर्ििष्ट िैं।
5.
जनरििता : वि व्यजक्त-
(क)
जिसने ऐसे व्यजक्त से, जिसका पजत या जिसकी पत्नी िीजवत िै, जववाि दकया िै; या जववाि की संजविा की िै
या
(ख)
जिसने अपने पजत या अपनी पत्नी के िीजवत रिते हुए दकसी व्यजक्त से जववाि दकया िै, या जववाि की संजविा
की िै।
उक्त पि पर जनयुजक्त का पात्र निीं िोगा :
परन्तु यदि केन्रीय सरकार का यि समािान िो िाता िै दक ऐसा जववाि ऐसे व्यजक्त और जववाि के अन्य
पक्षकार को लागू स्ट्वीय जवजि के अिीन अनुज्ञेय िै और ऐसा करने के जलए अन्य आिार िैं तो वि दकसी व्यजक्त को इस
जनयम के प्रवतिन से छूि िे सकेगी।
6.
जिजथल करने की िजक्त: ििां केन्रीय सरकार की यि राय िै दक ऐसा करना आवश्यक या समीचीन िै, विां वि उसके
जलए िो कारण िैं, उन्िें लेखबद्ध करके तथा संघ लोक सेवा आयोग से परामिि करके इन जनयमों के दकसी उपबंि को
दकसी वगि या प्रवगि के व्यजक्तयों की बाबत, आिेि द्वारा जिजथल कर सकेगी।
7.
व्यावृजत: इन जनयमों की कोई भी बात, ऐसे आरक्षण ं, आयु-सीमा में छूि और अन्य टरयायतों पर प्रभाव निीं डालेगी,
जिनका केन्रीय सरकार द्वारा इस संबंि में समय-समय पर िारी दकए गए आिेिों के अनुसार अनुसूजचत िाजतयों,
अनुसूजचत िनिाजतयों, अन्य जपछडे वगौ, भूतपूवि सैजनकों और जविेष प्रवगि के व्यजक्तयों के जलए उपबंि करना अपेजक्षत
िै।

िैजक्षजणक अििता और अनुभव रखते िो।
टिप्पणी 1 : प्रजतजनयुजक्त की अवजि
(अल्पकाजलक अनुबंि सजित) जिसके अंतगित
केन्रीय सरकार के उसी या दकसी अन्य संगठन
या जवभाग मे इस जनयुजक्त से ठीक पिले िाटरत
दकसी अन्य काडर बाह्य पि पर प्रजतजनयुजक्त
की अवजि िै सािारणतया तीन वषि से अजिक
निीं िोगी।
टिप्पणी 2 : प्रजतजनयुजक्त द्वारा जनयुजक्त के जलए

S.R.O. 67.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution and in
supersession of the Navy Group ‘A’ Gazetted posts (Medical Physicist and Occupational Therapist) Recruitment Rules,
2002, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the
following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the posts of Medical Physicist and Occupational Therapist in the
Indian Navy, Ministry of Defence, namely :-
1.
Short title and commencement.– (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Defence, Indian Navy, Medical
Physicist and Occupational Therapist (Group ‘A’ Posts) Recruitment Rules, 2024.
(2)
They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2.
Application .– These rules shall apply to the posts as specified in column (1) of the Schedule annexed to these
rules.
3.
Number of posts, classification and level in pay matrix .– The number of the said posts, their classification and
level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the said Schedule.
4.
Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc .– The method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications and
other matters relating to the said posts shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule.
5.
Disqualification .– No person,–
(a)
who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or
(b)
who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,
shall be eligible for appointment to the said posts:
Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the
personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for
so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.
6.
Power to relax .– Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it
may, by order, and for reasons to be recorded in writing, and in consultation with the Union Public Service
Commission, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class to category of persons.
7.
Saving .– Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions
required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, the Other Backward Classes, the Ex-
servicemen and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government
from time to time in this regard.
