का.जन.आ. 20.— राष्ट्रपजत, संजविान के अनुच्छेि 309 के परन्तुक द्वारा प्रित्त िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, रक्षा
मंत्रालय, िन सम्पकक जनिेिालय, फोटोग्राफी अजिकारी, ज्येष्ठ फोटोग्राफी अजिकारी और उपजनिेिक (फोटो) भती जनयम,
2014 का संिोिन करने के जलए जनम्नजलजखत जनयम बनाते िैं, अथाकत् :-
1.
संजक्षप्त नाम और प्रारम्भ .- (1) इन जनयमों का संजक्षप्त नाम रक्षा मंत्रालय, िन सम्पकक जनिेिालय, फोटोग्राफी
अजिकारी, ज्येष्ठ फोटोग्राफी अजिकारी और उपजनिेिक (फोटो), भती (संिोिन) जनयम, 2025 िै।
(2)
ये रािपत्र में उनके प्रकािन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त िोंगे।

(क)
जनयम 2 में, “स्ट्तंभ (1)” िब्ि, कोष्ठक और अंक से पूवक “अनुसूची के” िब्ि अंतःस्ट्थाजपत दकए िाएंगे ;
(ख)
जनयम 3 के स्ट्थान पर जनम्नजलजखत जनयम रखा िाएगा, अथाकत् :-
“3.
पिों की संख्या, वगीकरण और वेतन मैट्ररक्स में स्ट्तर .- उि पिों की संख्या, उनका वगीकरण और उससे संलग्न
वेतन मैट्ररक्स में उनका स्ट्तर वि िोगा, िो उि अनुसूची के स्ट्तंभ (2) से स्ट्तंभ (4) में जवजनर्िकष्ट िैं।” ;
(ग)
अनुसूची में,-
(i)
फोटोग्राफी अजिकारी के पि से संबंजित, क्रम संख्यांक 1 के सामने, स्ट्तंभ (4) में िीषक और उससे
संबंजित प्रजवजष्टयों के स्ट्थान पर जनम्नजलजखत स्ट्तंभ, िीषक और प्रजवजष्टयां रखी िाएंगी, अथाकत् :-
“वेतन मैट्ररक्स में स्ट्तर

वेतन मैट्ररक्स में स्ट्तर-7 (44900-142400 रु.) ।” ;
(ii)
ज्येष्ठ फोटोग्राफी अजिकारी के पि से संबंजित, क्रम संख्यांक 2 के सामने,-
(क)
स्ट्तंभ (4) में िीषक और उससे संबंजित प्रजवजष्टयों के स्ट्थान पर जनम्नजलजखत स्ट्तंभ, िीषक और प्रजवजष्टयां
रखी िाएंगी, अथाकत् :-
“वेतन मैट्ररक्स में स्ट्तर
(4)
वेतन मैट्ररक्स में स्ट्तर-10 (56100-177500 रु.) ।” ;
(ख)
स्ट्तंभ (11) में,-
(I)
उप-िीषक प्रोन्नजत के अिीन,-
(i)
"वेतन बैंड-2, वेतनमान 9300-34,800 और ग्रेड वेतन 4600 रु." िब्िों, अक्षरों और अंकों के स्ट्थान पर
"वेतन मैट्ररक्स के स्ट्तर-7 (44900 - 142400 रु.)” िब्ि, अंक, कोष्ठक और अक्षर रखे िाएंगे ;
(ii)
ट्रटप्पण-2 का लोप दकया िाएगा ;
(II)
उप-िीषक प्रजतजनयुजि के अिीन ,-
(क)
खंड (क) में ,-
(i)
उपखंड (2) में "वेतन बैंड-2, वेतनमान-9300-34,800 रु. और ग्रेड वेतन 4800 रु. " िब्िों, अक्षरों और
अंकों के स्ट्थान पर "वेतन मैट्ररक्स के स्ट्तर-8 (47600 - 151100 रु.)” िब्ि, अंक, कोष्ठक और अक्षर रखे िाएंगे ;
(ii)
उपखंड (3) में "वेतन बैंड-2, वेतनमान-9300-34,800/- और ग्रेड वेतन 4600 " के स्ट्थान पर "वेतन
मैट्ररक्स में स्ट्तर-7 (44900 - 142400 रु.)” िब्ि, अंक, कोष्ठक और अक्षर रखे िाएंगे;
(ख)
ट्रटप्पण-2 का लोप दकया िाएगा;
(iii)
उप जनिेिक (फोटो) के पि से संबंजित, क्रम संख्याक 3 के सामने,-
(क)
स्ट्तंभ (4) में, िीषक और उससे संबंजित प्रजवजष्टयों के स्ट्थान पर जनम्नजलजखत स्ट्तंभ, िीषक और प्रजवजष्टयां
रखी िाएंगी, अथाकत् :-
“वेतन मैट्ररक्स में स्ट्तर

वेतन मैट्ररक्स में स्ट्तर-11 (67700-208700 रु.)।” ;
(ख)
स्ट्तंभ (11) में,-
(I)
उप-िीषक प्रोन्नजत के अिीन,-
(i)
"वेतन बैंड-3, वेतनमान-15600-39,100 और ग्रेड वेतन 5400 रु." िब्िों, अक्षरों और अंकों के स्ट्थान
पर "वेतन मैट्ररक्स में स्ट्तर-10 (56100 - 177500 रु.)” िब्ि, अंक, कोष्ठक और अक्षर रखे िाएंगे;

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 11th June, 2025
S.R.O. 20.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the
President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Ministry of Defence, Directorate of Public Relations,
Photographic Officer, Senior Photographic Officer and Deputy Director (Photo), Recruitment Rules, 2014, in the
Ministry of Defence, namely:-
1.
Short title and commencement .- (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Defence, Directorate of Public
Relations, Photographic Officer, Senior Photographic Officer and Deputy Director (Photo), Recruitment (Amendment) Rules,
2025.
(2)
They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2.
In the Ministry of Defence, Directorate of Public Relations, Photographic Officer, Senior Photographic Officer and Deputy
Director (Photo), Recruitment Rules, 2014,-
(a)
in rule 2, after the word, brackets and figure “column (1)”, the word “of the Schedule” shall be inserted;
(b)
for rule 3, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:-
“3.
Number of posts, classification and level in pay matrix. – The number of the said posts, their classification
and level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the said Schedule .”;
(c)
in the Schedule,
(i)
against serial number 1, relating to the post of Photographic Officer, for column (4) heading and the
entries relating thereto, the following column, heading and the entries shall be substituted, namely:-
“Level in pay matrix
(4)
Level-7 in the pay matrix (Rs. 44900 – 142400) .”;
(ii)
against serial number 2, relating to the post of Senior Photographic Officer,-
(A)
for column (4) heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column, heading and the
entries shall be substituted, namely:-

“Level in pay matrix
(4)
Level-10 in the pay matrix (Rs. 56100-177500) .” ;
(B)
in column (11),-
I.
under the sub-heading promotion ,-
(i)
for the words, letters and figures “Scale of Pay of Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4600 in Pay
Band-2”, the words, figures, brackets and letters “level-7 in the pay matrix (Rs. 44900 – 142400)” shall be
substituted;
(ii)
Note 2 shall be omitted;
II.
under the sub-heading Deputation,-
(A)
in clause (a) ,-
(i)
in sub-clause (ii), for the words, letters and figures “scale of Pay of Rs. 9300-34800 and Grade Pay
Rs. 4800 in Pay Band-2”, the words, figures, brackets and letters “level-8 in the pay matrix
(Rs. 47600 – 151100)” shall be substituted ;
(ii)
in sub-clause (iii), for the words, letters and figures “scale or Pay of Rs. 9300-34800 and Grade Pay
Rs. 4600 in Pay Band-2”, the words, figures, brackets and letters “level-7 in the pay matrix
(Rs. 44900 – 142400)” shall be substituted ;
(B)
Note 2 shall be omitted;
(iii)
against serial number 3, relating to the post of Deputy Director (Photo),-
(A)
for column (4) heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column, heading and the
entries shall be substituted, namely:-
“Level in pay matrix
(4)
Level-11 in the pay matrix (Rs. 67700-208700) .” ;
(B)
in column (11),-
I.
Under the sub-heading promotion,-
(i)
for the words, letters and figures “Scale of Pay of Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs. 5400 in Pay
Band-3”, the words, figures, brackets and letters “level-10 in the pay matrix (Rs. 56100 – 177500)” shall be
substituted;
(ii)
Note 2 shall be omitted;
II.
under the sub-heading Deputation,-
(A)
in clause (a),-
(i)
in sub-clause (ii), for the words, letters and figures “scale or Pay of Rs. 15600-39100 and Grade Pay
Rs. 5400 in Pay Band-3”, the words, figures, brackets and letters “level-10 in the pay matrix
(Rs. 56100 – 177500)” shall be substituted.
(ii)
in sub-clause (iii), for the words, letters and figures “scale or Pay of Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay
of Rs. 4800 in Pay Band-2”, the words, figures, brackets and letters “level-8 in the pay matrix
(Rs. 47600 – 151100)” shall be substituted;
(B)
Note 2 shall be omitted.
